My Operating system is Windows 10 32 . Unable to Install Canon Laser Shot LBP 1120.

Unfortunately, Canon does not support the Laser Shot LBP1120 under Windows 10. It was only supported through Windows 8. There are Unix drivers available here: https://www.canon-europe.com/support/consumer_products/products/printers/laser/laser_shot_lbp1120.html?type=drivers&language=en&os=windows%2010%20(32-bit) . Since the Laser Shot LBP1120 was released with Windows 98/Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP drivers, Canon supported this printer for over 10 years. If your system has sufficient memory and virtual machine support (BIOS or UEFI), you could try using a virtual machine with Windows 7 (with appropriate license) or a supported version of Unix/Linux to run the printer. Alternatively, create a dual boot machine with one of those OS versions on the computer. I wish that I had better news for you. Cindy Wells (Another alternative is to write your own driver (or find a programmer who will do that). I don't write drivers myself.)

I have having this error on my canon ir advance C5235 error code e00807-0001

The error code E00807-0001 on a Canon imageRUNNER Advance C5235 indicates a problem with the fixing assembly, which is responsible for fusing the toner onto the paper. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
  1. Power Cycle: Turn off the printer using the main power switch, which is usually located on the side or rear of the machine. Wait for a few minutes, then turn the power back on. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.
  2. Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer's front cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path, especially around the fixing assembly area. If you find any paper jams, carefully remove the paper following the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Inspect the Fixing Assembly: The fixing assembly is located inside the printer, typically behind the front cover or access panel. Check for any visible signs of damage, such as broken parts or loose connections. Ensure that the fixing unit is properly seated and securely in place.
  4. Reset the Fixing Assembly: If there are no visible issues with the fixing assembly, try resetting it. Open the front cover and locate the green handle or lever associated with the fixing assembly. Move it back and forth a few times to ensure it is properly engaged.
  5. Contact Canon Support: If the error persists after attempting the above steps, it is recommended to contact Canon's customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They will have access to specific troubleshooting steps and can provide guidance based on their knowledge of the Canon imageRUNNER Advance C5235 model.

Please note that the error codes and troubleshooting steps may vary depending on the specific model and configuration of your Canon imageRUNNER Advance C5235 printer. Always consult the printer's user manual or contact Canon's customer support for model-specific instructions and recommendations.

As soon as when i turn on my canon imageRUNNER advancr DX C3835i on Error code E000202-0010 appears, what is the cause of this massage

The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C3835i error code E000202-0010 indicates a problem with the fixing film rotation. Here's some information about the potential causes and steps you can take to address the issue:
  1. Fixing Film: The fixing film is a component within the fixing assembly responsible for transferring heat to the paper during the printing process. It's possible that the fixing film has become damaged, worn out, or needs replacement. Inspect the fixing film for any visible signs of damage, such as tears or wear. If necessary, contact Canon customer support or a qualified technician for assistance with replacing the fixing film.
  2. Fixing Assembly: The error code can also be caused by a malfunction in the fixing assembly itself. The fixing assembly consists of various components, including the fixing film, upper roller, lower roller, and temperature sensors. If there is a problem with any of these components, it can trigger the E000202-0010 error code. In such cases, it is recommended to contact Canon customer support or a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
  3. Power Cycle: Sometimes, a simple power cycle can help resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and power it on again to see if the error clears. If the error persists after the power cycle, further troubleshooting or repair steps may be necessary.
It's important to note that the E000202-0010 error code is specific to Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE printers, and the exact steps or recommendations may vary depending on the specific model and configuration of your printer. Consult the printer's user manual or contact Canon's customer support for more accurate and detailed instructions tailored to your specific printer model.

What is the cause of the noise in my Canon iR 2230 copier machine when powered on?

When a Canon iR 2230 copier machine produces noise upon power-on, there can be several potential causes for this issue. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
  1. Paper jams or obstructions: Check for any paper jams or foreign objects inside the copier. Even small bits of torn paper or debris can cause mechanical issues and produce noise during startup. Carefully inspect the paper path, paper trays, and other areas for any obstructions and remove them if found.
  2. Misaligned or worn-out gears: Over time, the gears in the copier can become misaligned or worn, leading to noisy operation. If the noise seems to be coming from the internal components of the copier, it's possible that one or more gears may require realignment or replacement. This typically requires the expertise of a trained technician.
  3. Faulty or worn-out components: Other components within the copier, such as the rollers, belts, or motors, can also contribute to noise issues. If any of these components are faulty, damaged, or worn-out, they may generate unusual noises during startup. A professional technician can inspect and identify the specific problematic component for repair or replacement.
  4. Improper installation or loose parts: If the copier was recently serviced or had any components replaced, it's worth checking if everything is properly installed and tightened. Loose parts or improperly installed components can result in vibration or noise during power-on. Carefully inspect the copier for any loose screws, clips, or panels, and ensure that all parts are securely in place.
  5. Internal mechanical issues: In some cases, internal mechanical problems can cause noise during startup. These issues may require a thorough examination and repair by a qualified technician. Internal mechanisms, such as the fuser unit or drum unit, can develop problems over time that contribute to noise generation.

How to fix canon autoref thermal printer not printing

There are several possible reasons why a Canon autoref thermal printer may not be printing consistently. Here are some troubleshooting steps that can help fix the issue: 1. Check the paper roll: Make sure that the paper roll is adequately loaded and aligned. If the paper is not loaded correctly, it can cause the printer to stop printing. Also, could you check if the paper roll is the correct size and type, as the printer's manual specifies? 2. Clean the print head: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate on the print head, causing it to malfunction. To clean the print head, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Then, use a soft cloth or cotton swab dipped in alcohol to gently clean the print head. 3. Check the power supply: If the printer is not receiving enough power, it may not function properly. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the printer and the power outlet. Also, check if there are any loose connections or damaged wires. 4. Update or reinstall drivers: If none of the above steps work, try updating or reinstalling the printer drivers. Go to Canon's website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Follow the instructions to install them on your computer. If none of these steps work for you, you can contact Canon customer support for more help.
