It means No Good or Not Good, fax was never received for a number of reasons.

As far as I can see from Canon website, there is adriver for Vista which may work considering that you change its compatibilitysettings to run in Windows 7.

Input 'check printer' and a few options will come up like removing power and and replugging the power cord or transformer back into the wall.

Or, reinstall the toner cartridge.

Solution: Reinstall the toner cartridge

1. Remove the cartridge from the machine.

• Remove any documents and printouts from the machine.
• Make sure the machine is plugged in.
• Lift the latch and open the front cover.
  

Do not try to open the front cover without lifting the latch since this may damage your machine.

• Hold the cartridge by its handle and remove it from the machine.
  

1. When you are finished, reinsert the cartridge. Hold the cartridge by its handle and insert it into the machine as far as it will go, making sure that its tabs are aligned with the rails inside the machine.

it might be that you have to uninstall the printer and then reinstall it. this will get rid of the error message

No I do not charge :-) , but you have problems with main pcb. You need to replace it, but its same amount of money if you buy new machine. Try with Canon L160 wich is also printer.

Are you sure that there is no lines when you make copies?Because the scaner is used when you send faxes and when you copie, if sensor is bad or dirty lines would be wissible.
Clean it very well, with strong detergent, but in small amounts.Scratch the stains from corctour or similar...

Is it when u send or recieve faxes!If on sending(open the part where u put in the faxes to sent!U will see a big black roller and under that a small black one,undeer that a long strip of glass,make sure that there's no marks of any kind on the glass!If recieving it might be on the fax that is sending the fax!Good Luck!

U can only get the last 40 transactions on the fax report!sorry!
