How can I solve this error code(IR1600) on my canon copier by myself?

It uses the CEXV14 toner carttridge

There are several possibilities. After you inspect for the Jam and close the drawer, does the copier come to ready? Have you checked the behind the doors on the right side. If the copier comes to ready and you press the start button does the copier jam right away. If so check the dial on the paper drawer and be sure its set to the right size paper. If its not the copier will jam, right away. It is important with a Canon to check all areas and open both the paper drawer and the right side doors when checking for jam, if the right sequence is not followed in checking for jams the jam may not clear. If still Jammed you might take some canned air open the right side door and blow out the paper feed area, a sensor may be blocked or dusty. If all else fails turn the machine off and un-plug it from the wall, let it set a few minutes and plug it in and try it again.

I had the same problem on a IR-2230 and I had to replace the Developer Assembly. Check the connection first - have you recently had this worked on?

Your waste toner bottle is full. Needs to be replaced or emptied. I believe the bottle is located in an area that requires tools to remove it. If your machine is under maintanence you should call them to have it replaced. If not then you will need to empty it yourself. Be careful, take bottle out and wrap bag around the opening and turn upside down until all powder is out. then clean off and replace. Turn off machine and back on error should clear.

conon IR2116J printer E001 and E808.Please help me.

is in the font cover (canon logo cover), open the toner bottle door and revome the screw located in the center, then in the front left side there in another screw in the upper corner, remove that too. slide to the left the front cover and you will see the waste toner bottle

its a laser shutter or laser unit

if there is no message on display...and if machine running for a long...pls check the toner, some times its not showing on the display

Need a bit more info. did the copier display a error code that starts with "E______" that info. will tell where the problem is.

It usually means there is something blocking the interior. Try turning the printer off, unplug it for 5 minutes, plug it back in, wait 5 minutes then restart.
