Canon P1-DH V will not
My calculator stops after I total once, then when ready to total again it will not take numbers unless I push total again?

SOLUTION: I was just having this problem with mines but I was able to fix it. The I don't much about any memory overload or anything (I only do simple add and subtract computations). First I removed the cover and removed the paper from the feed (its a pain I know to reload but you want you're calculater fixed right?). Next I removed the ink roller (it's marked 'PULL UP'). Then after some tinkering, nudged the numerical stamp to the left 2-3 times which immediately started the feed right up. My explanation is that the printer had gotten jammed/off track causing the FEED to stop working. You'll know it definitely if you hear a low quick hum each time you switch to the print function which is probably the little motor saying 'hey, umm I would print if I was connected to a printer!'. Ash fault? I think you mean "asphalt" but that's OK. You haven't given enough information to solve the problem, but here's what you need to do.
You know the area of the roof is 300 square feet (sq ft). You should know the area of each asphalt shingle, although that's the information you didn't give. When you know that figure, the calculation is very simple:
number of shingles needed = area of roof / area of one shingle
I don't know if this is a class problem, or if you really have a roofing job. Don't forget that on a real roof, the shingles overlap. If you do the calculation, the number you get is right only if you lay the shingles edge-to-edge. A real-world roof would need probably twice that number. Shingles come packed in bundles, and they usually tell you the area they cover. (By the way, 100 square feet is termed a "square".)

How do I stop calculator from rounding up?
Hi Carol,
There are switches at the top just under the screen called the "Rounding Switch" and the "Decimal Point Selector Switch".
With the rounding switch you can select rounding up or down, but you may also want to use the second switch to show more digits after the decimal. Put it in the "F" position to show all decimal places. When it is in the 0, 1, 2 positions, it strips off and round the numbers.
