Coloured And Dotted Lines Across My Screen
Firstly, start your pc in safe mode (f8) on boot up.
This will start your pc in vga mode, and hopefully the lines are still there, which will indicate a faulty graphics card, if they aren't it may be a problem driver.
If no lines, go to Add/remove programmes and uninstal your graphics driver.
Re boot pc then when it finds your card make sure you point Windows to the folder in which you have saved the driver files.
The driver should then install, see if any change.
You may have to try some older drivers, as Nvidia can be awkward at times.
I have had varying problems with Nvidia and replaced with ATI cards with no problems.

Hi , are you sure that your CPU is not overheating?
This could be caused by insufficient Heat Sink Paste . or your CPU fan could of clipped out of its socket , make sure its connected properly.

Video setting in couter strike try Mode in open Gl the bit low resolution
My screen only shows color stripes
It can be a graphics card problem as this issue comes when there is no signal to the Monitor from the Graphics Card. Other issues might be damaged cable connecting the monitor to the CPU or when the graphics card is not properly inserted in the motherboard.
No bootup when installing a Geforce 6200 PCI-e
Check how card is attached to PCIx16 port right?
It should be that one. Check connections, this problem is usually caused by not propperly attached card ,or outdated version of bios.

My resolution is at 800x600 and my color at 4
you need to set it higher, right click on an empty space on your desktop, go to properties and go to the settings tab, on the screen resolution set it to be at least 1024x768 and color quality to be 32bit.
in vista it may be a bit different but you should still be able to access to the display control area by right clicking on an empty space on your desktop, going to personalize and then adjust screen resolution.
if your new driver is the problem there are 2 things you can attempt
1. do a system restore to a previous time before updating the driver.
or
2. start your computer, before the xp logo comes up press f8 severaltimes. a menu will come up, select safe mode, loggin and go into computer>properties>hardware>device manager and right click on the display device go into properties, click the driver tab and do rollback driver to reload the previous driver you had installed.
it could be also that the drivers you loaded if loaded from the disk that came with your card are currently outdated, go in the webpage of the manufacturer and look for new drivers.. for installation I strongly suggest that you do that in safemode.
good luck!
Geforce 6200 shows vertical lines over video
My experience with these cards is that one or more of the capacitors on the board is bad and causes these issues and even worse horizontal and vertical distortions. Take a look at the capacitors on the board (if you are not familiar with what parts are the capacitors,.. they look like little cans and usually have a + or - printed on the plastic cover). as you look a each one,.. you can feel the top,.. if it is bulged up and not totally flat or if it appears to have been leaking from the top or bottom,.. the capacitor is bad and needs to be replaced. I have had success on several geforce vid cards with this issue,.. the caps are relatively inexpensive,.. but if you dont know how to solder properly,.. you can kill the board,.. either way,.. if the caps are bad the card will not get any better by itself,... and you may want to consider trying to fix it,... if you toast the card, there is not real loss,.. you wold have needed to get a new one anyway. Let me know what you find out.
