It sounds like you may have a bad internal output ic. If you know how to access the menu, some decks now have the option to turn off the internal output ic. I'm not familiar with that particular deck, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

If you can hear the cd player boots up then that it a confirmation that your unit has power. If the display don't light up, then the problem is a contact point in the face itself. If you know ow to take off the face and clean and align the contacts, test if it resolves your problem. If not, the only way to know for sure is to find a local car audio shop that's a JVC dealer, see if you can get a new face or if they are aware of the problem, I'm sure a shop may even keep those replacement faces in stock.

is there a flexible cable going from the face to the main motherboard? if so, the cable may be bad.

Try to Unplug the Power Source from the stereo and see if this reset your radio...good luck

Sounds like the problem is a contact point in the face itself. The only way to know for sure is to find a local car audio shop that's a JVC dealer, see if you can get a new face or if they are aware of the problem, I've answered this question a few times so I'm sure a shop may even keep those replacement faces in stock. If you have all the devices hooked up correctly using the JVC/Sirius interface. It does not recognize it if it's defective. Most common problem sirius/xm has. The miniport for the antenna connection has a bad solder joint and thus is inop. if it does turn on by chance, it will say "acquiring signal" and that's it. If it's new get it replaced. If it was working prior to this, and it's out of warranty, go on Ebay and get a rebuilt tuner, their about 50.00 and more reliable than new. Hope this helps

this could be a connection issue. are all wires tapes up with out touching each other? it could also be that you are trying to power too many speakers. u migth need a amplifier...
