Setting daylight savings time on
From the main time display, hold down the adjust button until it beeps and your time zone is flashing on the bottom of the display. Then press the mode button once. [AUTO/ON/OFF] DST will be flashing on the bottom. Use the Time Memo and/or Receive buttons to cycle the mode. When it's what you want, press adjust twice.
I need to change the

How do I set my Casio G-Shock watch?
This depends if you want to use the autoreceive mode or not. If you're within an area that you can pick up the signal, it should set itself automatically at 3AM, 4AM and 5AM. You can force it to try and calibrate to the broadcast signal by holding down the receive button while in the "normal" time mode. For best results, put it near a window that faces Colorado (assuming you're in the states) with the top of the watch facing the window.
To turn on or off the autoreceive mode:
From the time mode, hold down the Adjust button until the watch beeps and your time zone is flashing at the bottom. Press the Mode button twice so [ON/OFF] Auto is flashing. Press Receive to toggle the mode, then press Adjust twice to set.
If, for whatever reason, you're unable or don't want to use autoset, to manually set:
From the time mode, hold down the Adjust button until the watch beeps and your time zone is flashing at the bottom. Press the Adjust button again and 12H/24H will be flashing at the bottom. Press mode again and seconds will be flashing. Mode once more and the hours will be flashing. Use Time Memo/Receive to set it to what you want. Press mode again and minutes flash. Again, use Time Memo/Receive to set it to what you want. Repeat for year, month & day. Press Adjust to finish chaning the time.
What if I live in
The main difference, as I understand it, between London time and GMT is London time will shift for DST (daylight savings time) and GMT will not. Therefore, London time is probably your best bet.

Sounds like you're set for the wrong time zone, and your 12h/24h setting is off.
To change time zone:
Hold down the adjust button until it beeps. Your time zone will be flashing at the bottom of the display. Use the Time Memo and/or Receive buttons to change it to the correct time zone. Then...
To change to 12H mode:
Press adjust again. 12H or 24H will be flashing at the bottom. Use the receive button to cycle the mode. When it's what you want, press adjust once more.
How do you shut off alarm on g500a watch
Use the mode button to switch to the alarms. Use the Receive button to scroll through the alarms until you get the one that you want to turn off. Press the Time Memo button to toggle it on or off (you'll know it's on when the pie piece in the 3 o'clock part of the right-most circle is lit and it's off when that pie piece is unlit.) Use the same method to turn an alarm on by toggling the alarm to the other setting.
