This also drove me crazy. But I figured it out:
1. Hold the top left button down until "LIGHT" appears at the top; now you are in the setting more. you can turn the light function on or off by pressing either of the right hand buttons.
2. Then, just keep pressing the bottom left button to toggle through each of the settings (date, hour, minutes, etc.); and use the same right hand buttons to set them as needed.
3. When you're done, press the top left button again to complete your settings.

I've had to send mine to Casio every time I've needed a new band. It's a PIA. I wish I could find another way to replace it. They will only put the same band back on. I'd like a different band that is a little more durable. Good luck.

Press the bottom left button 5 times, the alarm time will appear, press the top right button once then the underscore line will be under 'alm, press it again and it will be under 'sig' press it again and it will be under both, press it again and it will be then 'off'. Hope this helps.

mcdevito75 here, If it"s a Casio watch, better to leave the Face alone, miss handleing the movement could destroy the watch, I"ve done it myself. Best to get a new face for the watch and have a jeweler install it.
