Taking back off relic watch
If this is screwback, then there should be grooves for inserting case
opener claws. For this yoy need case opener with interchangeable claws.
You can buy it on ebay for approx. £7.00.
If the casebask is
snap-on, then there shouldn't be any grooves, just small opening (lip)
between the caseback and case. This is exact point where the
watchmakers knife blade must be inserted and pryed up.
Do not forget to rate, please.

Problem with casio sea-pathfinder watch
For all Casio watches go to
www.casio.com select "Support" then "Manuals" then "Watches".
You will then be able to enter the 4 digit number in the square box to get the manual for your watch or module inside is actually what the instructions refer to.
The problem of changing functions automatically is called "Auto Display" and can be stopped and started in Sea-Pathfinder SPF-40 (modue 2273) by pressing the bottom left button for 3 seconds.

CASIO SPF40 battery replacement
"AC" means All Clear. This terminal should be marked somehow. Use a magnifying glass to get a good look at what you are working on. My Casio had an arrow pointing to four copper leads. I used a paper clip to connect the AC terminal (I just picked one of the four) to the + side (usually the "up" side) for a couple seconds and my Casio Sea Pathfinder model 2273 powered right up. See the following link for more guidance.

Adjust not working
i had this problem with mine after a battery replacement. If you open your watch, and look behind the offending button, you'll notice there is a small arm that should fit behind the button. the jeweler that destroyed my O-ring during a battery replacement also failed to line these arms up on one side of the unit. i had to find a REALLY small screw driver and finagle the arm back under the button... Now it's working perfectly... except the whole not waterproof any more part....
Hope this helps.

Casio Gulfman G9100 tide setting. where to find Lunar Tidal Interval?
If you look at the GMT differential in the manual, you'll notice that it corresponds to the offset from GMT that your time zone resides in. I live in San Antonio but i don't see that on the list. I do know that when we're not in Daylight savings time, I'm -6.0 from GMT... so that's what i set it for. Also, if you're near enough to the coast to use this feature, it would probably be a good idea to compare the watch reading to the actual tides and adjust accordingly.
Hope this helps.

Battery power not lasting
The screen may be damaged. Or just faulty. If it had to go through too much shock, its trash.

How to reset 2872 casio ?
If a Casio watch has a display readout that says "OPEN", the watch isn't closed properly. Check if all the parts are inside the watch and make sure the watch is tightly screwed shut. If the watch was serviced at a repair center you should return it to have it checked (for missing parts).
