Casio FX-300MS Calculator - Page 8 Questions & Answers
I'm trying to do sin-1 7/2 but it keeps saying
That is correct: there is an error in your request. The range of the sine function spans the closed interval [-1, 1]. Thus the domain of the inverse sine function (the arc-sine) is the interval [-1,1]. However you are asking the calculator to calculate outside of the domain (7/2=3.5). If you are using the hyperbolic sine sinh, that is another matter.

Your calculator can store values into nine variables, named A, B, C, D, E, F, X and Y. You can store a value into one of them by pressing [STO] [letter] (they are marked in red next to the corresponding buttons).
A to F are general purpose variables, X and Y are used for statistics functions and M has some special functions attached like directly adding or subtracting to/from the stored value via [M+] and [M-].
Okay, so I'm trying to fix my exponents over here.
Your calculator is giving you the correct answer, telling you that 0.77 to the 22nd is about 3.1827 times ten to the minus 3, or 0.0031827 . By default, the calculator will switch to scientific notation if the magnitude of the number is less than 10 to the minus 2, or 0.01. You can put the switch at 10 to the minus 9 by repeatedly pressing the MODE key until you reach the screen showing "Fix Sci Norm" on the top line. Press 3 to select Norm, then press 2 to select Norm2.
The calculator can only show ten digits. The only way it can show a number with ten or more leading zeroes is to switch to scientific notation.
