I would do it the very old fashion way, but I know it will work on any calculator;)

3.45 x 10 x/y (x to the power of y) (11+/-) /* this should get you the number inside the bracket */

log /* this should give you the log of the bracket */

*1 +/- = /* this should give you the answer*/

I get 10.462180904926725879050933879218.

Good luck.

Paul

You can always convert a fraction to a decimal. The reverse may not always be possible. Look at the example on the screen capture.

You may be lucky and recover a fraction you have just converted into decimal format, but you cannot just write 0.333333333333 and expect the calculator to convert it to 1/3: The true fraction 1/3 has an infinite number of 3's after the decimal mark. Casio FX-260... | Answered on Jan 21, 2015

Why? If number is decimal the dot is needed. If the result is an integer, just ignore the dot.

5% of any number is one-twentieth of that number. 5% of 100 is 5. 5% of 200 is 10. 5% of 1000 is 50.

If you have the formula you can use the calculator to find future values. But do not count on this calculator to do it for you. It does not have a business/finance application.

You could ask the bartender, or another club member. Or you can give a huge tip (pourboire) such as the total amount of your bill and that would constitute 100%.
