Ur power supply it dead,need it replaced.

main power board is bad, usually the cp9211 fuse on this board is bad,

Hdmi or component

Replace light engine.

you need to conect an other lead with red and white ends into tv audio input and the other end into audio out on the equiptment

I have to ask the obvious question, is your tv on the correct Hdmi channel ?

It's very possible the signal is weak and the previous television didn't have the capability to identify a bad or weak signal. If you've got a splitter on your main cable line and have it split more than 2 for 1, you should have a signal booster installed. Once you split a line more than once, the signal degrades exponentially. Some televisions using lower resolution will still function but your Hi-Def 51" television needs a solid signal to provide a quality picture. If your cable signal has not been split more than a 2 for 1 splitter, then you should contact your cable provider and ask them to perform a signal test (most tests can be performed from the office but in some cases a tech needs to come out). Ok, I have read your problem and have the fallowing for you to aces.
First, When plugging in your PC, are you setting the monitor function keys ?
For example, on my Laptop, I have to hit the Function key and F-4 to use a external monitor.
On a regular PC, you will want to enter your display properties and adjust your settings accordingly.
When you plug in your TV are you adjusting Thu your menu for inputs ?
Hope this has been of some help, you will need to read your manual and make the appropriate settings.

From what little I have read about these TVs parts are High Call JVC 1-800-233-1060 Ask for TECH surrport them them what your problem is If it doe turn out to be Light engine Call UED for price of rebuilt one 1-800-648-6657 Also go to website ENCOMPASS look up your Model number they will have a listing of Parts 1-800-638-3328 You can try Downloading to USB stick in formation to it reprogram eeprom to TV sometime this will correct problem! GOOD LUCK with the repair.JVC downloads.

check and see if you have the center channel on in the menu if you do turn it off and also see if you have the internal speakers turned off if so turn them on.

try to defoss it remove the power connection for atleast for 20 to 30 mins the patches will disapper

You need to replace the power supply board. The new ones have a bigger heat sink - obviously JVC knows about the problem because they made the new ones bigger. It cost $250 from JVC and I installed it myself - took about 3 hours to do. If you are not tech savvy call a repairman. Hope this helps.

Are you using HDMI. If you are see if HDMI audio is activated in the cable box using settings on cable box

I believe those objects are really black, and always there, Maybe they are no so big as they look, but the projection make them looks that big. some times the plastic use in the manufacturing is not cleaned and those plastics felt in the lenses, being positive. an expert can decide if it is just and object or anything else.

unplug the tv, then reinstall the bulb,if that doesnt work youll need a tech to help. (dont buy another jvc tv)
