When accelerating in my 2008 Yamaha electric golf cart after letting up on the gas pedal you hear a grinding noise . It does not happen when you were moving only when you are coasting.

Sorry to tell you this but the 08 has a problem with the gears in the differential wearing slack in them. As long as they are engaged- no noise- but let up on the gas and you get gear noise.

2012 Club car president runs great On occasion it will only go 4 or 5 miles an hour then after a round or two of golf it goes back to it's normal 15 MPH. It will work for weeks like that then 5mph

Sounds like the controller is detecting a error and shutting down the speed. I would have to connect a test set (iqdm) to see maybe what the error code is.

1995 electric golf cart. The motor runs but wheels do no move

Is this an ezgo golf cart? If it is then your brake drum is stripped. It has splines that mate with the axle shaft.

My golf cart has a full charge when going it skips what would it be

Do you mean that it changes speed? If so it could be a speed sensor that is mounted on the end of the motor. Depending on your model year it also could be the throttle (mcor).

My 1983 ezgo elect. Golf cart go to full speed as soon as you touch the pedel.

I am guessing you have a 6 pin controller(only 4 wires are used). The white and black wires are the throttle coming from the ITS in the floorboard. You either have a wiring error, controller bad, ITS is bad or the gas pedal plunger going into the ITS is all the way in already.

I have a 1994 club car golf cart , backfires , ******* gas , spark plug gets black with what do you think I should do to rectify my problem , thank you , roger

You may have a weak spark or overly rich fuel mixture; your mixture should be 32:1 doing break-in period and then normally 128:1 if you running a richer (more oil) your engine will run lean and be hot thus the spark plug will be dark/black and if running too hot will melt the electrodes or burn a hole in the piston.

I own a Yamaha 2011 YDREX 48v golf cart. How do you troubleshoot the controller with a voltmeter. Once you buy them, you can't return it. Thanks,

I don't know how to check that controller, I always check everything else then replace the controller. I start by checking to see if the solenoid is working and the reverse buzzer. If they are then I check the motor. You have to disconnect the main batteries then disconnect the four wires off the motor. Take a jumper wire and connect to A1 and F1 then to 16 volts. Another jumper wire will connect to A2 and F2 then to16 volts. One should be negative and the other positive. In this setup we are applying the same voltage to both coils of the motor at the same time. If the motor turns it's good.

07 Yamaha G29 golf cart has a bad TPS. With a bad TPS, would the main solenoid still operate? Reverse buzzer is not working as well. Trying to determine if the controller is bad.

Should still operate solenold. You also have a stop switch in the floorboard, it will connect when pressing on pedal.

2007 YAMAHA ELECTRI GOLF CART WHILE DRIVING IT BUCKED HARD THEN DIED BATTERY ALL HAVE GOOD POWER RELAY HAS GOOD POWER

Solenoid still operates? Should hear a click. If it clicks measure voltage on field side, should get same voltage as on battery side, this is on the large posts. If ok then you are looking at a controller, motor problem or main wiring to them.

My golf cart sits and hesitates and squeals

Sounds like a loose starter/generator belt. Or worse case engine is locked up and the driven pulley won't rotate.
