My Ruff & Tuff golf carts have a new battery and new speed sensor. I have a big problem, as the cart moves too slow! Do you recommend any solution to the problem?

It is a known issue. Not much in the way of fixes. There doesn't seem to be a listed manufacturer, which generally means they are made in China at the cheapest price point and badged to a seller chain. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure the battery is fully charged and make sure that all the connectors are clean. Spray with electrical contact cleaner. https://www.google.com/search?safe=off&rlz=1C1QJDB_enCA643CA644&sxsrf=ALeKk02F9aqVmHZsaEzXVbKGRaWjup_92g%3A1615436749222&ei=zZtJYIqcDcaFtQbkwpL4Ag&q=tuff+%26+ruff+gtolf+cart+too+slow ..

My Mr. Heater keeps falling out of the cupholders in my golf cart. What can I do to keep it secure. My next door neighbor, a real DIY guy, has the same problem and we can't solve it.

This wil possibly be either an issue with the cup holder itself or the sprung mounting clips on the actual heater. Some cup holder slots are designed for larger 'Jumbo' cups so the hole is too big for the heater body to grip enough. Another reason could be the spring loaded "legs" on the heater base may be weak or faulty. All I can suggest is contact Mr Heater directly to see if they supply an adapter of some type.

Electric club golf cart is very slow especially up hill batteries replaced I last 18 months has made no difference

  1. You did the right thing, you almost always start with the batteries first. However, it may be the controller. The speed of an electric golf cart is determined by the speed controller. Problems with this part may be trickier to diagnose and repair. This YouTube video shows you how to replace one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azWblmoGAJs I hope this helps you out! Rhonda

How to tell when too much water is added to a golf cart battery

Firstly is never add water to a discharged battery as the level will rise during charging. If the battery overflows, the sulphuric acid electrolyte causes the sort of corrosion it is difficult to stop or get rid of... Heat generated during charge/discharge and natural evaporation causes some evaporation and adding a little (preferably) distilled water to a fully charged battery If the battery electrolyte has been allowed to fall so much a cell appears dry, begin the recharging process on a low current checking the electrolyte level every few hours; if after around 12 hours the plates still appear dry add about an egg-cupful of water and repeat... Eventually the electrolyte level will be correct - either a quarter to a half inch above the plates depending on the size of the battery or if there is an indicator, level with it. Once the electrolyte level is correct and it has been on charge for a few hours and then allowed to stand until cool the state of charge and battery condition should be checked with a hydrometer. A healthy battery has each cell with a similar hydrometer reading within a very small margin and is close to the gravity of the original fill, typically 1250/1260.

Yamaha g14 gas golf cart. Why does gas blow out carburetor?

It isn't unusual for a fuel haze to hover outside the carb of a high performance engine but a golf cart engine is definitely not that. A more detailed description would have been helpful. On the face of things, it suggests the piston is rising on the compression stroke while the intake valve is still open but slipped timing is very unlikely. The only other time when fuel is commonly blown from a carb is when the engine kicks back during starting and will spin backwards a revolution or two. Over-advanced ignition timing or a lean air/fuel mixture can cause this. If it was ok before the new carb it would be a good idea to revisit that fitment, comparing the settings with the original...

I installed a universal turn signal switch on my ezgo golf cart everything works but the indicator light don't work

As the bodywork is mainly grp make sure the indicator lights are grounded (earthed). This may require a ground wire from each indicator light back to the chassis or wherever the battery is grounded
