Without remote control, you can't unlock it.

press menu button....change autotune to manual channel set ...then just add the channels you want

Check its main power regulator section. The output voltage from the SMPS is low.

Check its speaker. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s in the audio output circuit.

Refer it user manual to switch OFF the timer function.

You will need to re-program it again, to put in the channels that are missing.

If you have the original remote, there's a button that controls caption settings (I think it's marked "CC" or "captions"). Press it to cycle through the choices until you turn captions off. You may also be able to turn off captioning through the on-screen menu using front panel buttons on this model.

On the back of the TV, to the right of the I/O panel, there are 2 vertical slot shaped openings on a raised bit of the plastic case. Behind the lower slot is the screen adjuster. Using a phillips screw driver, turn the adjuster clockwise to increase the brightness. Behind the upper slot is the focus adjuster.

I had this same exact problem with another brand LCD panel. The logic board ended up being replaced. I tried personnaly disconnecting everything that could have input commands (IR reciever for remote, buttons on the TV itself).

Most likely you have a shorted diode and transistor at the on/off relay inside the set. The trasistor is a small suface mount and the diode is a top mounted device. This should not be a real expensive repair. Take it to a repair shop. These parts are very small.

yes it will require a converter box if you don't recieve cable or satellite
