had the same prob with my son. the games are fun the wife and i couldn't help it.
1. take out the batteries then hold the "on" button for 45 sec replace batteries
2. go to your vtech mobigo acct edit your childs name to "family" or something
3. now add the child you wanted to "reset" now switch mobigo from "family" to new child
4. plug mobigo into pc and the progress log should be reset
thats what worked for me hope this helps

Does the crack look like it has black ink or lines around it as well? If so, this happened to my son's Mobigo and, unfortunately, the system is now toast. I called the store where we bought it and they told me to call V-Tech because it should still be under warranty. However, V-Tech informed me that it is not under warranty for damage and that they cannot repair their toys at all. There is nothing that can be done with it. They did offer of discount for a new V-tech purchase though.

Unfortunately, if it's a black line that covers what is being displayed on the screen, no matter which game you insert, it will not go away. The screen has been damaged and V-Tech says it cannot be repaired. My 2 children have Mobigos and both of them have damaged the screens now to where there is so much black that they can't even be played... waste of $!

You need to connect the Mobigo to a computer with internet connection On. Use an USB cable, the Mobigo will download the reward. Alternatively contact the manufacturer: http://www.vtechuk.com/about-vtech/contact-us/

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem en ik vermoed nu dat het komt omdat je nog niet via de nederlandse site kan installeren??
iets anders kan ik niet meer verzinnen, aangezien er bij de instructies duidelijk staat vtechnl.com
ik heb nu geprobeerd via US en UK maar dus dezelfde melding
Er staat op de vtechnl website dat het halverwege 2011 te downloaden is.

hopelijk is dat het, en kunnen we het dus halverwege 2011 wel geinstalleerd krijgen.

mocht je een andere oplossing vinden hoor ik het graag

usually the problem can be solved by removing the battery, removing the game cartridge, plugging it in to charge, without the battery, and then adding the battery afterward.

trouble shoot enternet.

if the screen is cracked then the screen is now bad. you can call and talk to the Vtech people and see how much they will charge to fix the screen, their number is : 678-691-4935 - they are located in GA. their email info is : [email protected] .
now the cost of a new unit is only $59.95 so keep that in mind when you are adding up repair costs and shipping,, plus a new unit will come with a new warranty,, and the unit that you send in for repair will have at max a 30 day warranty.

When I connect to the web site Mobigo can't recognize USB device. Please help, I'm tired.....and really mad about it!!!!

Looks like it is a bit of a ploy to get the child's progress. You have to download the Learning Lodge Navigator and connect your son's device to the computer. It will download his progress. When you are done it will show some trophy icons on the login screen. That's the "reward."

Hi there, there doesn't seem to be any specific information online for how to take it apart, but I've attached the user manual as a link to reverse the process. It seems you can easily remove the "shoulders" from the "base", all four legs can be detached easily, and the stool has removable legs as well. Hope this helped.

Apparently you can disconnect all power supplies (batteries and adapter), then reconnect all power supplies. Press the ON/OFF button. Remove the storybook cartridge, clean it if necessary, then re-insert it into the V.Reader. I've also included the product manual as a link.
