If this is what you mean for live dialpad on, the telephone automatically dials out and turns on Handsfree as soon a dial pad key or softkey is pressed, your polycom soundpoint With the handset on-hook, press any assigned line key,to obtain dial tone.then you Dial the desired number.
Which I don't think is like the live dial.
