Gaffers and Sattler oven temp fluctuates drastically

It sounds like your Gaffers and Sattler oven may have a problem with the thermostat or temperature sensor. These components help regulate the oven temperature and can cause fluctuations if they are not functioning properly. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Make sure the oven is properly calibrated. Some ovens have a calibration adjustment that can be used to fine-tune the temperature. Consult the manual or manufacturer's website to see if your oven has this feature, and follow the instructions to calibrate the oven if necessary.
  2. Check the oven thermostat. The thermostat controls the heating element and can cause temperature fluctuations if it is not working correctly. You may need to replace the thermostat if it is faulty.
  3. Check the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor measures the oven temperature and sends a signal to the thermostat to adjust the heating element as needed. If the sensor is not functioning properly, it can cause temperature fluctuations. You may need to replace the sensor if it is faulty.
  4. Check the heating element. The heating element is responsible for generating the heat inside the oven. If it is not working properly, it can cause temperature fluctuations. You may need to replace the heating element if it is faulty.

Old WCI Canada Oven Manual?

I'm sorry, but I don't have access to specific model manuals or information about WCI Canada ovens. However, I can offer a few general tips for replacing an oven light:
  1. First, unplug the oven or turn off the power to the oven at the circuit breaker to ensure your safety while working on it.
  2. Locate the light cover or lens, which is usually located on the ceiling of the oven cavity. Some ovens have a light cover that can be easily removed by turning it counterclockwise, while others may require you to use a screwdriver to loosen screws or clips holding it in place.
  3. Once you have removed the light cover, you should be able to see the light bulb and socket. Carefully remove the light bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
  4. If the light bulb is not the problem, you may need to replace the light socket. To do this, you will need to remove any screws or clips holding the socket in place, and then carefully pull the socket out of the oven.
  5. Once you have access to the light socket, you can test it with a voltage tester to determine if it is functioning properly. If the socket is not working, you will need to replace it.
  6. Once you have replaced the light bulb or socket, reassemble the oven and test the light to ensure it is working properly.

Yankee scoreboard clock temperature display no longer working, every other display works

  1. Check the power source: Make sure the clock is plugged in and that the outlet it is plugged into is functioning properly.
  2. Check the fuse: If the clock is plugged in and the outlet is functioning properly, the issue may be with the fuse. Check the fuse to see if it has blown and replace it if necessary.
  3. Check the temperature sensor: The temperature display may not be working if the temperature sensor is not functioning properly. Check the sensor to see if it is connected properly and test it to see if it is working. If the sensor is not functioning properly, you may need to replace it.
  4. Check the wiring: If the power source, fuse, and temperature sensor are all functioning properly, the issue may be with the wiring. Check the wiring to see if it is properly connected and in good condition. If the wiring is damaged, you may need to replace it.

Error code c-do how can I fix itunplugging and re plugging 24 hours later does not seem to fix the problem as as soon as I cook anything on my stove top it goes off again?

If this is a Samsung range, then the C-d0 error indicates a stuck keypad key. Try pressing down on each key to jog the stuck one loose. If that doesn't work, try pressing down on each key from an off-center position on the keypad. If this doesn't work to release the stuck key, you probably need to replace the entire keypad. Please add a comment with the range model number. I will see if I can find the correct part number for your range. If the range is under warranty, you can contact Samsung for a warranty repair. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Hotpoint stove not working properly?

It is a gas appliance so can only be worked on by a registered gas technician. They need servicing about every 2 or 3 years, when was it last serviced? The burners have a secret hidden adjusting screw. They are set for a low flame that won't blow out by an open window and then medium and high flame works how it should. Oven. The pilot light has a safety device called a 'thermocouple'. Its job is to only supply gas to the main jet if the pilot is lit. They need replacing about every 4 to 5 years. The burner not lighting all the way is either dirty or blocked jets, a dirty gas orifice or the main gas valve not opening all the way due to the thermocouple failing. The clicking is the ignition trying to light the pilot, it failed, so it cut off the gas. It needs servicing or you decide to buy a new one. Hope that helps. ..

I want to know where the fuses are on my Inglis stove. It is probably 25 to 30 yrs old

Not likely there are fuses. Look for a model number on sides or back of the the storage drawer. There may also be a literature package affixed somewhere on the storage drawer or the back of the unit.

I bought a Wolf Welder Gas/No Gas 140X but need a Manual. Can you help me access this please

Hi, I've found the product on amazon and ebay. So reaching out to the seller of the products on those platforms could be your fastest way to come across the manual. Also, some (technical) college libraries might be able to lend you a copy of the manual. Thank you.

We are FIXYA dot com. We don't sell anything, we only supply information on fixing stuff. PWB-8D seems to be the important part. You will need a gas certified installer to do this conversion. https://www.google.com/search?q=series+pwb-8d+conversion+kit ..

My gas range doesn't indicate any power going to control board. The oven won't turn on?

full 'make model (what it is)' in all questions please, first 3 words. Establish there is power at the wall outlet. If there is, you need a service call. It is a gas appliance and has to be serviced by a registered gas technician, plus, control boards are expensive so you need the right diagnosis and warranty on the repair.

I can see a piece of insulation hanging down in between glass on the oven's front door. Is this dangerous?

No this will not be a problem. That insulation will not set fire, maybe blacken but the heat inside the glass is actually less than anywhere else the insulation maybe.Do not try to fix this yourself as the glass is very fragile when handled incorrectly.Leave it as is if it doesn't bother you.

Gas leak spectra oven xl44

Hi, Not necessarily. Please make a call to your natural gas company to have them use their volatile gas detector within and around your home. The device will detect any gas leaks and then you can know for sure whether your oven has an issue. Thank you.
