LG DLP Projection TV Green/Brouwn vertical Bar
Hi there.
The excessive heat from your lamp has burned one or 2 polarizing lenses.
To replace this you have to pull the optic engine out of the unit and dismantle it.
You will see 3 square lenses in there, remove one by one until you find the burned one.
Then go to ebay and type in hoya polarizing lense.
Buy the 72mm one and cut it to size.
hope this helps.

Some say you can reset the timer in the service menu, normally accessed by holding down the menu button on the TV and the mute button on your remote at the same time. Others say you need a special "service remote" to access the timer. I've changed my bulb twice already and have just learned to ignore the amber lamp timer light. A little square of black electricians tape would make it go away!
Changing lamp on lg dlp
On my unit there's a panel on the lower right hand side, remove the 2 screws with a screw driver. Inside you should see a compartment that is metal and has a thin metal handle. Remove the Black screw on the top left hand side. Then pull the unit out with the handle. Inside the unit holds the bulb, just replace and go through these steps in reverse to place back together.

Hi there.
The green tube can be sourced from a lot of different televisions.
Buying a secondhand one is the most affordable as a new one can be over 500 dollars.
buy yourself a dead samsung rear pro and use the ube out of it.
