Do you mean store hose or fit for use, if its fit for use then the rapide has a small flap at the front (normally has VAX logo on it) lift gently and push hose onto it and turn to lock. if its the spray hose (smaller hand held spray nozzle) then it connects a bit closer to the washer main case on a small normally orange valve which again pushes and locks. Hover has to be in upright position for hose to suck.

Hi, I also have a rapid, the hose pushes and turns into the clear front were it collects the old water. There is a sprung small clear plastic flap that you gently lift up and the hose pushes gently into then turns about 90 degrees to lock in place. Its located just under the orange carry handle with VAX engraved on it. the small orange valve at the top of this is for dispersing cleaning fluid from the small hand tool that sits on the handle which again pushes on and turns to lock. But be careful when taking off as it will still have a small amount of pressure in it and will squirt a little.
