get the device disk and simply install all the utilities in it , it has to be on of them .

first of all i would like to tell you to see the printer if there is any jam inside the printer. If there is no obstacle then you set your printer to factory setting by using the ssc service tool that is free from google search.

Remove all of the paper from the tray and shine a flashlight into the printer. Look for any torn pieces of paper or other debris that could be blocking the paper sensor.Pull the paper guides back as far as they will go, then reload the paper tray. Push the paper guides until they are tight against the paper on all sides. If the paper guides are loose or not properly adjusted, the printer may not sense that the paper is in place.Look inside the printer if you have a unit with a single paper tray. Locate the print rollers, then look for a small plastic flag that moves up and down when the paper feeds into the printer. Jiggle this paper flag until it moves freely. If the paper flag is out of place the printer may not recognize that there is paper in the tray.Pull each tray out of the printer carefully if you have a unit with multiple trays. Find the print rollers and the paper flag. Choose the correct operating system (If you're not sure, In the start menu there's a little search field, enter "winver" (without quotes) and that will tell you.

Or you can look at the windows License Key sticker (usually located on back or bottom of PC.

Or you can use cmd.exe: winver

it could be the coagulation of ink in between the cartridge better dip it in mild hot water for some times and replace it wiping the water . it would do the trick and solve your problem . it has been practically tested.
