Have you done an online search for the drivers you are looking for? Usually if you do that you will find the web site that contains the drivers you need to download to get the printer to work.

This can be done by sending an "escape sequence" to the printer. Basically you create a text file using Notepad and then print it. Of course the magic escape codes to do this are found in your P5010 Owners / Users Manual. I don't have a copy at hand. If yours has been misplaced, you're pretty much out of luck. I'm guessing the carrier solvent for the ink has evaporated. (Ribbon is old and dried out - even the new one) In the past, i have sprayed WD40 on unspooled ribbons and rewound them to bring ribbons back to life but that can be messy with spotty results. Suggest you buy direct fro Printronix.....
