Is there a problem with joining the line out signals into a mono adapter to feed a guitar amp?

Yes. There should be a mono out on the unit and that's what ypu'd use.

Boss br8. I have no power is there a fuse inside the machine?

There should be a fuse on the power supply board inside the unit. If it is not that then it is most likely the board itself. You can get a replacement at Allied Electronics.

Is it possible to connect my Boss multiple effects ME-25 to my BR-800 recorder. If so how, and can it then be linked to an amp (again how)

Hello Alan. Yes you can connect your ME-25 to the BR-800, there is no risk to damage any. it is simple, you may use both outputs of the pedal and send them via two normal 1/4 plug guitar cables to two of the channels of the DR (i.e. ch 1 & 2) to avoid an initial saturation of the recording preamp, set the input sens pot at minimum and the sliders very close to minimum as you try playing and looking the levels on the display and adjunting them to the optimum. To connect the DR to an amp you should use the pair of RCA jacks named LINE OUT (R & L) depending of the amp you have there might be the need for a conversion cable or plug adapters. The out put of the DR is stereo, and if you want to use a guitar amp, commonly mono, you should mix both channels to send them to one input, this can be done by putting two 10 kohms resistors in series with each channel output and joining the other end to the input. Good luck and best wishes

Bought a new BR-800 Digital Recorder and I can't play the demo song on it. I have followed all directions, however am still not able to play demo song or even find it in the menu. Can someone hel

Remove power supply or battery for 5 minutes. Apply power while holding the on switch in, this usually resets most electronic devices to their factory default condition. Then look again.

How do I connect active

Best to use the line out jacks. The phone jack is stereo and you would have to use a wye cable for that.

In the forums tab, scroll down to the BR8 forums. There is software to convert the BR files to PC readable. You can find discussion there of where and what to get.

Auto punch -does this allow the recording to begin

Yep, that's what its supposed to do. You set the start (and stop) points and it punches from play to record so you can pick up just before where you goofed up. I'd suggest you put the punch-in point at a natural transition to what you're recording - like a pause in guitar part of between verse/chorus of vocals. If you try to punch into the middle of a guitar run (for example) the results may be less that satisfactory. Make sure you sing/play along with the playback so the transition sounds natural - don't try to just pick up after the punch.

Hi. Can I use the second pedal on my Roland BK5 to scale up the key one semitone at a time?

Yes, you can use the second pedal on a Roland BK-5 keyboard to transpose the key of the music that you are playing up or down by a semitone at a time. To do this, you will need to press and hold the second pedal while playing the keyboard. You can also use the transpose function in the settings menu of the BK-5 to adjust the key of the music that you are playing by a specific number of semitones.

I need a circuit diagram for a Roland MA-15D speaker please?

It's a Chinese made Roland and no service information is available as when a fault is found the main board is replaced, eliminating the need for service information. I would check that it is a stereo out jack and not mono. If it is a stereo out, check that both input phonos work. If they do, replace the faulty socket or damaged pcboard.
