if you like the laptop soo much if you want you go to e-bay and look for the same laptop that would use YOUR RECOVERY CD. the laptop don't have to be perfect you can use the one you have for parts, one of the main thing is you'll have your hard drive and memory card. [REMINDER] make sure if you decide to do the project to have a mini set of screw drivers and a small magnet to keep screws together and a work place. good luck.

have you tried a different power source or power supply ,maybe you can borrow one from a friend and try and if that don't work you might have to take it apart and see if your power cable is seated properly in the motherboard

The ram could possible be bad also try running a system repair or another os.

There are no motherboard fuses. Either the power supply is bad or the motherboard is. Based on your question, I would prefer you take it to a repair shop. the LCD could be getting ready to quit working soon or it could be the plug on the inside of your computer that the screen plugs into the screen could be coming undone thats what it sounds like to me i maybe wrong

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Either your laptop charger is dead or your laptop dc jack is loose. Try use a spare laptop ac adapter to examine it. If it will work well, that indicates you need a new charger, if it appears the same situation, you should repair your laptop dc jack. Is it a constant alarm? If so you might have a memory problem.Remove the Power Cord, Remove the screw and the cover that houses the memory and remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots.
