does it back up while beeping? just kidding - what does the power light on the tv do after you try to turn it on do you hear sound at all? have you tried changing inputs (do you get video on any input) does you see a picture n the tv at all if so is the picture really dark - need a little more info to get you in the right area - probably a power supply or inverter board problem to be honestly with you.

Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

that is for any updates the mfg needs done to the unit.  do NOT plug your stuff in there...

Internal speakers of this tv are very small and will not bear/ got damage instantly by high power output of receiver.
There is no way to utilize tv internal speakers to connect with receiver. Please buy external speakers for your Denon receiver, plug tv audio output jack in receiver input to listen tv sound in external speakers.

Take the tv aparts,check the Power switch see any burn marks,possible not holding connection.U know how to do soldering?Have sodering equipment,resolder the FBT,the Flyback Transformer,the big black block of plastic with the red wire with a cap hookup to the CRT(Tv Tub)

It's still in warranty call whomever you bought it from to have it repaired

Get a universal from big box and program. If you can find a rca remote, it should be programmed already.

It sounds like the circuit board is arching over somewhere. It could be as simply as cleaning and digging out the carbon mark to stop the arching. This is most likely the screen or focus voltage causing this, if there are no parts that have broken down. This will damage the printed circuit board and make things worse the more you let this cook. This could be dangerous for you to mess with because of the high voltage present, so my best advise would be to get this into the repair shop as soon as possible before this board burns up. It should not cost all that much if the CRT board can be repaired. Good Luck
