Go start / control panel / Smart Audio / (wait 15-20 second ) ;) open audio director and select Multi stream on the right side you can check sound speaker or headphone. then exit, go control panel / sound / then select speakers as default. that's all. does the powersupply have a led showing it is working? if so does the netbooks power indicator show it's plugged in? If you have lights in both places try removing the battery and see if it turns on while plugged in. Otherwise you are looking at a hardware failure.

It sounds like you're battery has died, has you've possibly over charged it. You will find new battery's online cheaper than actually going to some sort of shop. Just simply type in the model name on google and add battery. :) Hope this helps

How to boot DVD
Restart your computer During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or the F2 key but will differ depending on your computer and Bios. Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys navigate to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos restart this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system. Note: After you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults after windows has loaded If you are putting windows XP on your computer your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd\dvd.

You have to go to the computer manufacturer's website to look for the drivers. Make sure that they are for Windows 8. After installing the drivers, install RadarSync to automatically update them. You can even try installing RadarSync before you look for the drivers because if you did the update and not a clean install then RadarSync should detect the generic drivers in your computer and it will scan for their latest drivers.I hope this helps!David
The slimtype dvd drive in my acer aspire 7739z doesn't work
check: right click on my computer in desktop then choose manage. then click on device manager then if u see a yellow symbol then right click on it and update the driver through internet then it will say u what u have to do exactly.good luck
