My Poloroid LCD TV wont turn on power supply brick light doesnt

The TV needs a fairly stable and well filtered 12V power supply. A jumpstart box is 12V, but is I seriously doubt that it is anywhere near filtered and stable, so most likely you would smoke the TV.

Hooking the TV directly to a 12V battery is just fine, as long as the battery has enough current to run the TV.

Polaroid LCD-2000 no VGA input option

Right, well, IF your TV has a DB15 Female Plug on it then you CAN, connect it up and it will work, as a second "Monitor". OR If the laptop, has a "Composite Video" a Yellow RCA socket, then you can, connect to the TV's Composite IN. & it will be a second monitor. Otherwise you cannot, the VGA signal is NOT compatible with a TV's input. SOME cards have a connector that plugs into the DB15 and to the TV, but they are "Special". In saying that though you can "Micky Mouse" things together and get an output, but it real poor quality, and disappointing results, there are various posts on the net about doing this if you wish.
Remember DRIVERS, you also need the drivers installed & setup correctly in order for the hardware to work. As a tip, When connecting to a TV, always connect like this......First, plug all cables into TV's correct Video input(s). Connect up the Sound, plug all cables into laptop, turn TV ON. NOW, start the laptop, you should now soon see the an image.
NOTE: Some laptops & other devices, have HDMI out, sometimes, the AUDIO is not passed through, the HDMI cable, & the Audio must be run from Audio/Line OUT on laptop to AV IN on TV.Also some laptops have a socket that a multi-way 4/5/6/7 pins. A connector plugs into this, you then can connect to these connections, as you would normally.

Connecting this up will be easy. What you do is get a yourself a set of the right, for your setup, cables. That uses EITHER one of the formats, of these described, below. You will need, either, a THREE way Cable, or three separate " Coaxial Cored" Cables with RCA PLUGS on them. ColoredYellow, (Video) Red, & White. (Audio) AV. OR If you have SCARTConnection Sockets, it's a big Black Socket at rear of unit(s), you get aSCART Cable.& It's all inside. Now some units, use a standard calledComponent Video, that uses, a Green, Red, & Blue Plugs. Now, with the Component setup, you will also ,need, Two more Cables, for the AV Audio. these are, Red & White.(So with Component Video there are 5 Cables/Plugs in all). In any event ALL Cables go Color to Color, at each end, plugging into the corresponding Colored RCA Jacks, on either machine, or VCR or TV. Now if you have SCART, then it simply plugs in only one way. It is that simple. So connect up with the leads your set uses, and select the correct "Input" from TV/Remote, it is NOT on a "Channel" it will be on AV, AUX, and Press "Play" on VCR/DVD whatever.... should be all go.

Polaroid lcd-2000

If you do not get ANY indicator light , then you need to look at the power supply for the 5vdc standby voltage first whic will be in the power supply module, this 5vdc is needed by the main board to turn on the rest of the circuit. If you do have even one light, the n the problem can be in the controller board not sending the signal to turn on the main power supply section. Look at the power supply first since it is one of the part that fails most, next to the backlight board.

Polaroid TV working with constant red flashing light

If your Polaroid Roku TV is working fine but the red light is continuously flashing, it could indicate an issue that may need attention. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Power Cycle:
    • Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for at least 5 minutes.
    • Plug the TV back in and turn it on.
  2. Check Remote Control:
    • Ensure that there are no stuck buttons on the remote control. Press each button to make sure they are not stuck in the pressed position.
  3. Update Firmware:
    • Check if there is a firmware update available for your TV. You can usually find this information in the TV's settings menu.
  4. Reset to Factory Settings:
    • Perform a factory reset on your TV. This will erase your settings, so be sure to back up any important information first.
  5. Check for Physical Obstructions:
    • Make sure there are no physical obstructions around the TV, particularly around the infrared sensor on the TV and the remote control.
  6. Contact Customer Support:
    • If the issue persists and your TV is still under warranty, consider contacting Polaroid customer support for assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or offer a solution.
  7. Professional Repair:
    • If the TV is no longer under warranty and the issue persists, it might be advisable to consult a professional technician or a TV repair service to diagnose and fix the problem.
Always refer to your TV's user manual for specific instructions related to your model. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to seek assistance from the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.

Can you tell me the code for a Polaroid TV for SANSAI URC-L969 universal remote please.

First is a link to a codes page. Next is a description of programming the device. The code page strikes me a little confusing about the method so that is why I provide the description of programming. Polaroid TV Universal Remote Codes & Program Instructions - Universal Remote Codes
  1. Turn on your Polaroid TV.
  2. Press and hold the SET button on your SANSAI URC-L969 universal remote until the LED light turns on.
  3. Enter the 3-digit code for your device using the number buttons on your remote. If you don't know the code, try searching for it online or contact the manufacturer of your device.
  4. Release the SET button once you've entered the code.
  5. Test if your remote is working by pressing some buttons like volume up/down or channel up/down.
