Your VGA connector has a broken solder joint on the video board or the mother board. This isn't an easy fix. Suggest you look for a VGA to USB dongle or adapter instead. Install the driver, and you should be good to go. You'll just have to take your dongle along whenever you need a VGA connection.

Have you tried downloading the network drivers appropriate for your computer from the manufacturing website? Of course downloading them via another computer witch has connection to the internet?

Does your WiFi work on the laptop work in another place... Starbucks for example? If so, then there is a software security issue with the router, you will need to call the ISP for adjust the settings. If you PC doesn't work with wifi at Starbucks then you have a software issue with your laptop. Go to MY Computer, Hardware/Devices and look for any yellow marks. There will probably be one where the wifi is located. (Expand all the devices by clicking on the plus "+ signs. Find the wifi modem, there are many mfrs; Broadcom and Atheros are two ones. Go into the submenus and driver update too and write everything down you find. The most important things are the description, model number, software version and version date. Navigate to the hardware mfrs site and download and install the newest drivers for the wifi modem. Re-boot and try again to establish a connection.

if u r having though u getting same problem just do uninstall the lan adopter drivers and install again u can get solve ur problem

It is better to use your browser to clean-up temp internet files.
For Internet Explorer do the following...
1. while in Internet Explorer
2. click on Tools in either the Menu or Command bar
3. click on Internet Options at the bottom of the pop-up menu
4. on the Browsing history part of the Internet Options window
5. click on the Delete... button
6. on the resulting Delete Browsing History window
7. check-mark Preserve Favorites website data
8. check-mark Temporary Internet files
9. make sure everything else is not check-marked
10. click the Delete button at the bottom of the window
If you want to delete other items, check-mark them prior to pressing Delete button.
If you want to manage Temporary Internet Files click on the Settings button
and set appropriate options in the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window.
Finally, click OK when exiting to save the changes otherwise click the Cancel button.

That is normal. It does that because a temperature sensor controls the uProcessors temperature and tries to keep it less than 50 degrees C. When it gets less than that the fan switches off.

penguintech October 18, 2012 9:36:23 PM what are you trying to do? if your trying to recover from the partition and it is not allowing you to do so, you may have corrupted the restore partition. or you let the 30 days expire and you have no choice but to reinstall or purchase a legal license. Either way, it may be best to contact gateway for original disks (usually a minimal fee) and once your back up and running, make sure you make a set of recovery disks before you do anything else.

If it is a new hard drive it could need formatting or if it already has software loaded it could need the drive formatting on a different machine. I have noticed something strange, probably in the bios settings of one computer I had contact with recently. It resisted all attempts to load an operating system on an empty drive but loading an operating system with a different machine and then reinstalling the drive in the original it accepted the new operating system without any further hitches. Another thing to think about was the time we tried to take a look at a hard drive and all my friend's machines refused to read it. It turned out his machines had 32 bit operating systems and the fresh hard drive was on 64 bit.

Okay, whats happened is that you either have a program like Bitlocker turned on, or some security feature enable on your hard drive. If you want to get into BIOS press either F4, F2, F1 or DELETE. Most of those keystrokes will enter you into your BIOS. Unless your BIOS is locked with a password, in which case you'll need to get a device code. If this is the case you will need to contact the manufacturer and speak with them about your issue, which will require your serial number and model number. As a back door last resort, you may be able to put your Windows OS disk and do a install over the existing Windows image. Make sure you have a real windows OS disk, not a recovery disk.
