How do i get it to fill the tv screen when watch it on tv using an hdmi

Either locate the video cards settings page and if available it will allow you to stretch the display to fit the screen or If your TV has the ability, choose a native resolution like 720 or 1080 and locate the picture settings on the TV and look for anything to do with Display Ratio, you can play around here but you will want to find 1:1 , it will fill the screen exactly to the resolution you have picked on the computer. Intel onboard cards have a utility that allows you to stretch the screen, if you need further help, let me know what video card the laptop has and i will be able to step by step the fix. Just look for the 1:1 ratio first, it's your best bet.

I click on my notification icon, because it says I have new notifications but nothing happens, any ideas?

Hi, this could be an issue of your computer not being able to display the notifications correctly, or there could be service related issues wherein the computer is unable to install the updates as the software is not recognising the same. check the services, proxy, antivirus settings .. run a disk cleanup and scan the registry.

My mouse pad is not working, I had to use an external mouse on my laptop.

if the touchpad is not working, then it could be both a hardware and a software issue. you need to check the drivers first, and need to make sure that latest ones are installed. try using safe mode with networking. if that does not help, then call 1-877-805-1027 for expert help.

How do i turn on the keyboard backlight on my toshiba satellite p200-1fc laptop?

Hi registrat342,Look on your keyboard & there should be 2 pictures that look like a sun on your function keys and 1 that is next to those but it has eyelashes and a box under it. Every keyboard might differ-but hopefully you get my point-as in 3 total 1st=dimmer, 2nd=brighter & 3rd would be the backlight. With mine-all I do is click it. Yours might be a little different. Hope that helps. Sherry

C850. How do I reboot my computer?

I'm not sure what do you mean by this "Toshiba Leading Innovations" screen. Is this the screen when you start up your computer before you get the Windows welcoming you message? If so, you can't really star safe mode because your computer has ba problem booting up Windows. This might be because a problem with boot files. I gues you need an application to restore the boot sector or boot files. I would try using a very useful application I found recently: It's windows PE, a CD resident trimmed version of Windows http://www.uploadable.ch/file/mKD6atNTMRGF Download it, Burn the CD. Noe set yout BIOS to boot from CD/DVD. Generally, you can access BIOS settings prssing DEL, sometimes it's F1. Look in the menu for startup setting and should select CD/DVD as first device to boot up your laptop.. insert it in your CD/DVD and boot windows from there After you are in WinPE, youll find some applications to recover from boot failre. If you are not familiar with concepts involved, maybe you should ask help from someone to assist you during this process.

My toshiba s55-b5280 won't turn on. There is no reset button. What do I do?

Hi, you need to check your circuit breaker box to ensure that there is no tripped creaker. Then the fuse in the power plug needs to be checked/changed. If that is good the internal fuse of the tv should be checked and changed if necessary. Beyond this a technicial should probably diagnose to find the fault. Your reference to a reset button shows that the talk of resetting may have confused you, a reset to factory default is usually achievable if the TV can be turned on and the menus are accessible from the remote control, it is an on screen munu option rather than a push button initiated process
