If you have the availability to connect it to the internet via the network jack on the back of the console, please do this and run through the set up to make sure that your firmware, is correct and updated!
I can't get a signal
My suggestions here are to check your connections from your player to your tv. Make sure that if you are using the red, blue, green, red, white composite cables, that they are properly seated and connected. Next check your tv, and make sure that your cables are connected properly on the tv and that your tv is on the proper input. If you are using a HDMI cable and you still have no picture on your tv, there is a slight possibility that your cable could be bad. Hope this helps, if you still have no picture at that point I would recommend calling the support number for your device!
Just bought system and it
These surround systems come equipped with timers set to a specific limit of time without any operation before it will turn off. It is an energy saving feature. Now what I mean by no operation, is that if you are watching a movie or listening to music, if you do not push a button on the remote or console meaning there is no "input", it is in a "idle" state. Even though it's playing a movie or your music, there is a timer set so that after so long with no "input" it will turn off. You can change the settings on your device so that it will wait longer before turning off, or not turn off at all. Turn on your device unit and go into the settings and you will find the timer that you can change there! Hope this helps!
It plays 20 min shuts off does it have a timer if
Yes, this system does have a timer to shut off after so many minutes of inactivity, meaning that yes, your player is playing a movie, but there has not been any input actions made on the player being volume, or any buttons pushed on the remote. You can change the amount of time it takes to shut off, but starting up your player and going to the settings menu, and you can fine and adjust the time there!
Hookup internet wireless
Please check your system specs out very carefully. This particular
system does not support nor include any wireless capabilities. To use
the internet connectivity, you must run a CAT-5 Network cable from your
router, to the network port on the back of the console!http://images.owneriq.net/download/images/7/73fb106c-28a9-43af-83b1-656b4b895d5e-000001.png

IT PLAYS about 2o min
Yes these systems have times built right into the pretty electronics they are running. So, next time you start up your system, make sure to visit the settings and change the time it takes for the player to shut off after idle times!
Have an RCA RTB 1023,
A common mistake with this type of setup can make for a frustrating solution, until you realize how silly and simple it is.. I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say you have this system connected to your tv through an HDMI cable, correct? If so, please nod! Now that you've just finished nodding your head up and down at a computer screen, have a little chuckle and now we'll continue! :-P Your HDMI cable is special because not only does it deliver magnificent picture to your tv, it also carries the sound from your player to your tv as well as playing through your surround sound speakers! So here is where the fun comes in, depending on what you may have been watching on your tv that particular day, the volume level is bound to fluctuate, because of a little know fact that not all tv channels use the same sound output level as others... Ooo you've learned something new, pat yourself on the back and here is your simple solution. Next time your watch a dvd on your system turn the volume on your tv up up up, and down down down, some times there is a slight lag from the audio being played on your tv speakers than on your surround speakers. So when in doubt, just turn your tv speakers all the way down! :) enjoy

Yes there is a way ti hook up the wires to the wires in the house.
1. You need to find out where the wires in the wall go to so you can hook them up.
If it is only in the living room you should see where the wires come out of the wall where they had the old TV. If they are not there look in the hall closet.
2. Once you have found where the wires are that they hooked the
receiver to all that you need to do is hook the RCA RTB1023 like on the link below.
