The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3) for PlayStation 3 Questions & Answers
How do you separate a drive adapter and disc adapter that are stuck together on KitchenAid KFP1466ER ?
'make model (what it is)' as first 3 words, a clear question and that great picture would have been useful.
This is the best way, and a second and third way below.
Spray WD40 into those slots. Have someone hold that ring over the edge of a worktop. Hold that lip on the left edge lip of the left piece with a pair of slip joint pliers, then tap the slip joint pliers with a small hammer to tap the two pieces apart. Then wash in soapy water to wash off the WD40.
I was somewhat reluctant to post this last night, but here goes.
Your thigh muscles are the strongest in your body. Put rubber washing up gloves on for grip. Sitting in a dining chair, knees together, grip both parts, press down on your thighs with your fists just before your knees and push your legs apart.
Final way. Get some Paracord. Put a 6 foot length on one end with a constrictor knot, and tie it to an immovable object like a tree. Put another 6 foot and a constrictor knot on the other end, and tie it to the back of your car. Drive slowly forward.
Or just ask a man :>D

My 3 and 1 steering wheel installation disc CD cannot be read by my ps2? I get the red screen says cannot read disc file
- Clean the Disc: Ensure that the installation disc is clean and free of smudges, scratches, or dirt. Clean it gently with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center of the disc outward.
- Check for Compatibility: Make sure that the game disc you're trying to use is compatible with your PS2. Some older PS2 models have difficulty reading certain types of discs.
- Check the PS2: Ensure that your PS2 console is clean and free of dust. Dust can interfere with the disc-reading mechanism. You can use compressed air to blow out any dust from the disc tray.
- Try Another Game: To determine if the issue is specific to the game disc or your PS2, try another game disc. If other games work without issue, it might be a problem with the installation disc.
- Memory Card: Sometimes, a corrupted memory card can cause issues. Try removing any memory cards and see if the problem persists.
- Lens Cleaning: If none of the above steps work, you might need to clean the PS2's disc-reading laser lens. There are specialized cleaning kits available for this purpose. Follow the instructions carefully if you decide to do this.
How do I get my Kirby 64 and the crystal shards to save?
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards cartridges not saving properly. This issue can be frustrating, but there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Clean the Cartridge Contacts: The first step is to ensure that the contacts on both the N64 cartridge and the N64 console are clean and free of dust or dirt. Use a soft, dry cloth or a cleaning solution specifically designed for cleaning game cartridges. Make sure the contacts are completely dry before inserting the cartridge into the console.
- Check the Save Battery: Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards, like many older games, uses a battery inside the cartridge to maintain save data. Over time, this battery can wear out. If you've purchased three new cartridges and none of them save, it's possible that the batteries in those cartridges are also depleted. Replacing the battery may solve the issue, but it requires opening the cartridge and soldering skills. If you're not comfortable with this, you may want to seek the help of a professional.
- Use an N64 Memory Card: Some N64 games require a memory card to save progress. While Kirby 64 generally saves directly on the cartridge, there's a slim possibility that it might require a memory card for some reason. Make sure you have a compatible memory card inserted into your N64 controller. However, this is unlikely to be the issue since you mentioned other games save fine.
- Test on Another N64 Console: If possible, try your Kirby 64 cartridge on a different N64 console to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the cartridge or your console.
- Check for Authenticity: Ensure that the cartridges you purchased are genuine Nintendo cartridges. Counterfeit or bootleg cartridges may have issues with saving or may not work correctly.
- Contact Customer Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there's a defect in the cartridges themselves. You may want to contact the retailer or the manufacturer (if possible) for support or to inquire about a replacement.
Remember that tampering with the internal components of the cartridge can be risky, so only attempt to replace the battery if you are comfortable with electronics and have the necessary tools and skills.
If none of these steps work and the issue persists, you may need to consider purchasing a different copy of the game from a reputable source to ensure you can enjoy Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards with proper save functionality.
