Teac AG-D9260 Receiver Questions & Answers
My teac ag d9260..was not have parts to buy, service center say!!
service the LCD parts yourself, the LCD glass is normally connected to the board by a rubber carbon wafer strip, sometimes the connection the the board is corroded enough to stop signals to the LCD.... simply peel the LCD & rubber strip away from the board and lightly scrape the contacts to make them shiny again (or if they're black carbon coated just use a pencil eraser).... run your fingernail or edge of plastic card down the rubber strip to remove surface corrosion, this will also "fluff-up" the strip for a better reconnection... if the strip stays on the glass you can leave it there to make your job easier. it's almost always the connection between board & rubber that fails first.
I need a user/owners manual for TEAC AG-D9260 please
HelloI've the owners (user) manual for your Teac AG-D9260. But I can't send it to you by this window as it does not allow me to upload PDF files by it. I don't remember from which site I've donloaded it. If you send your email address to me by FixYa comment, I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. OK.
Protect mode
The most common cause of this is that one of the speaker voice coils is shorted or the wiring to one of the speakers is shorted. Disconnect the speakers one at a time and see if the amp goes out of protect, if no change you have a shorted output circuit in the main amp section.
