It is showing "tampered Device"
Hi,
according to you try to reset the device. It may need recharge also. If the device need software update then visit website for update.
Please be informed that if the instrument is under warranty then you may loose that if you do it your self. Also if this device shows "tampered device" then you should not use it and report it to the company. The company advice that people must not accept and use a device which shows "Tampered". You may not repair it by yourself.

Machine requires manual entry of
buy a magnetic head cleaning card, swipe several time.
After clean the head, it will work again.

Inserting Paper into Verifone Credit Card machine
Just pop the lid with the button on the side of the terminal and drop the roll in with the paper coming out toward you as you face the machine. Close the lid and rip off excess. There is no need to feed paper through anything.

Reloading paper in the verifone 3730
place thermal paper roll
pull the end of paper roll over the printer
and
close the lid.
tear off excess paper

You have to have an account active with a Bank and confirmed to get proper access via the POS terminal.
Contact you VeriFone customer support. For proper setup.

Ram chksum error?
the ram needs to be replaced, there isn't anything that can be done other thatn change it...sorry. The dealer you baught it from should be able to help with that.

It says call ND, Why?
Call ND means Merchant needs to call Visa/MC voice authorization # to get approval code then you will need to force it through your terminal by pressing the force key 1st. then following the prompts.
