Sansui VRDVD4001 DVD Player/VCR Questions & Answers
Lost the remote
I'm sorry but, no you need the remote. The cheapest way to go is usually to check everyone's favorite auction site for the remote for your model number combo player. There are also some sites that specialize in "replacement remotes" but , are usually more expensive. I hope this is helpful to you. Bobya.
Can the sansui vcr/dvd combo record vcr tapes to a
No, the DVD section only plays DVDs, to record VCR tapes to DVD you need a ripping device that digitalize audio and video (convert step) and then transfer to DVD specifications this data to disk (record step). The easiest way to do this is using a USB video capture adapter connected to your PC with a DVD recorder drive installed, the software to do this commonly comes as a bonus in the setup disk of the adapter.
How can I get my DVD to get unstuck out of my VCR/DVD player?
I can't get any support from sansui. I think your DVD player is trying to read the disk. It can't and its stuck in DVD mode. This is just something I would try I don't know if it will work. Unplug the power source hold down the eject button and plug it back in. The objective is to try to get it to spit that disk out before it has a chance to try to read it.I hope this helps. If it does give me a vote and I'll know it worked.
Can you help me hook up my old nintendo ( 1985) It
Hi if your tv has rca inputs simply plug yello, red, and white rca cables into the color inputs on tv if it has a coaxle "roung with threads and a hole" simply screw the coaxle wire to this and your alset.
I can not get it
Is the clock set?
Do you have the manual?
Have you set it in the past and have it work properly?
Unplug it for an hour and re-try.
Thanks
I am connecting Sansui VRDVD4001
I would not put this between the sat and tv not recommended anyhow rather use RCA plugs because of the simple fact the tuner on the VHS might be on channel 4 make sure its on 3 and the tv is on 3, see if you connect this to the sat you will experience issues
Make sure if your going to do this you take the line out from the sat that otherwise goes to the tv and put it into the line IN of the vhs then from line out to the tv, the tv on channel 3 make sure the vhs switch on the back is on 3 is it has one that is. if that does not work try to hook this up via red, wht, yellow cables

The door will not open
for the replacement of the gear, you can try inquiring
here. Its not brand new, but I guess you can try replacement using higher models of sansui.
