All it needs is a good clean insise, it the toner that getting on the paper, or it is the fuser run out you need a new one, if yours is all in one toner with fuser then you will need new.

Hey Heather,I've had this problem recently--what you'll need to do is press GO and + at the same time. You'll need to get it just right otherwise you'll end up pausing the machine a ton. That should take you to a list of parts, just scroll to drum kit and press 'Set' to reset it.

I just got through this problem, The customer had a "refilled cartridge.
The Flag on the left side near the gearset of the Toner cartridge was not
brought back to the proper position, just undo the three srews and reset the flag.
