Why my salora CRT TV SC2133 is not displaying any color?

Try an external AV input and see if you have color. Other than that, without the sams for that unit, you are hit and miss. Also, you may want to check the power supply for Bad caps.

Tv turns on and immediately powers down. no

Hello,

The power light may be flashing or if you are runing with a series light bulb it may be cycling on and off continuously. There may be a chirping or clicking sound from inside the set. (Note: using too small a series light bulb load during testing for the size of the TV may also result in this condition.)

If there is a low voltage regulator or separate switching supply, it could be cycling on and off if the horizontal output, flyback, or one of its secondary loads were defective.

Does this TV have a separate low voltage regulator and/or switching power supply or is it all part of the flyback circuit? For the following, I assume it is all in one (most common).

Some simple things to try first:

Verify that the main filter capacitor is doing its job. Excessive ripple on the rectified line voltage bus can cause various forms of shutdown behavior. An easy test is to jumper across the capacitor with one of at least equal voltage rating and similar capacitance (make connections with power off!).

Use a Variac, if possible, to bring up the input voltage slowly and see if the TV works at any point without shutting down. If it does, this could be an indication of X-ray protection circuit kicking in, though this will usually latch and keep the set shut off if excessive High Voltage were detected.

TV has no power

Someone would have to check for short starting in Horizontal output circuit at the output transistor--voltage checks will also narrow down where likely problem is at.If power light does not come on usually trouble is at fuse or very near it.

How do i use the code search on the ucr universal

Hello

Four digit universal remote code for Sansui TV/VCR/DVD combo are:-
0394 0967
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.
Ok

Hi Iam trying to program a universal remote

How old are the remotes relative to the TV in question? If the remotes are older than the TV or were programmed within 6 months of this TV being released, then the code you need wasn't included in the remote's programming. In addition, unfortunately, many universal remotes do not work on combination TVs (with the DVD player and VCR built-in).

You can try to search through all the codes for the remote if your remotes have that feature. (On RCA remotes, turn on the TV, press and hold the Code Search button until the indicator light comes on, then press and release the TV button. Then press the On/Off button repeatedly until the TV turns off. Press Enter and see if the other functions of the remote work. If they do not, repeat the search. Then do the same but press the DVD and VCR buttons instead of the TV button.)

More likely you need a newer universal remote, a programmable (via computer USB) universal remote or a substitute remote from the manufacturer. See http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&uuid=12845952409830&smodel=TDC2075&brand_pn=SANSUI_TDC2075 for an exact substitute remote that will replace the original remote.

I hope this helps.

Try to get a UNIVERSAL multi remote if you are not able to get the original from the sansui dealer. The remote can be tuned accordingly to the set as instructed. You will be able to lock each of the function of the TV/DVD/VCR as you change the mode switch. Hoope you can look around for the best type/model in your city , try the spareparts accessories shop near to your place where all the electronic spares are available. hope this works. Good day

Universal remote

There is a $5 remote at Walmart that I know works for this Tv combo. You have to use the code search which cycles through 300 codes and I believe the one that works is the very last one. It is a GE remote that they usually have stashed by the checkout counters. & I believe you have to program each device on the tv individually.
