Well Nokia 1280 contains, Factory Programmed Mp3 Graded Ringtones, you can't add new mp3 ringtones to the mobile. You can compose some Midi tones using the composer provided in the mobile... No mp3 ringtone can be added to the mobile phone at user end.

1. Make sure that your device is on.
2. Next press and hold * key + 3 key + Call button + Power button until you see logo Nokia.

Try enter wrong code until the display shows "Enter PUK code".Then enter your PUK code of your sim and it will show "Enter new code".Then you can enter the new code that you want change.

When you forget your security code on your cell phone there is no easy way to get past it. Those security codes are for your protection so not just anybody can access your private information. You would have to get your phone flashed. Which means you would have to call Nokia Customer support at 888-665-4228...they are only open during the day. Ask them if you can send your phone in to be restored. You will lose all the information on the phone.

try this. switch it off. now press * 1 3 all at a time and switch on. might help.

PUK codes are only available from you service provider call them on another phone, provide proof of ownership of your account and they will give it to you

Ummm what are you trying to unlock???

it should be in settings, you need to enter the original 1 first then change it, but if you don't have original code, then you have to either rest the phone to factory settings, or get the puk code if its locked you out.

how to reset password

Puk codes are service related so you will need to contact service provider for unlock code

The sim card cannot be written to it has the data used by your wireless carrier on it. Unless you mean micro Sd card?
