primero tienes que presionar la tecla de registro/localizacion que se encuentra en la base por aproximadamente 3 segundos como minimo, luego la sueltas y le das en menu OK, luego configuracion OK, auriculas OK, Reg, auricular OK, y ahi te pide el PIN, son 0000 (cuatro ceros) OK, y eso es todo, tarda un minito o menos en registrarse, si tienes mas de un telefono, con cada uno de ellos tienes que hacer el mismo procedimiento y eso es todo, espero aun te sirva :)

To register the Gigaset handset, you need to have the handset near the base. Press and hold the Register/Paging button on the base for 3+ seconds (it's hidden by the handset when on the base). A shorter press of the button will activate the Paging feature. Then within 60 seconds of pressing the Register button on the base, press Menu and select Settings. Press OK and go to Handset. Press OK and then select Register HS. Enter the base PIN (default is 0000) and then press OK. (Use the up/down arrows to navigate the menus.) You will see Registering flash on the display of the handset for approximately 1 minute while the registration is processed.

Please follow this procedure to register your handset

1. On the base station: press and hold the registration/paging key for min. 3 sec.

2. On the handset: within 60 sec. of pressing the registration/paging key;

Select MENU then Settings then OK then Handset then OK - Register HS then OK -

Enter the system PIN of the base station (the default PIN is 0000). Then press OK.

Registering now flashes in the display.

Registration takes approx. 1 minute to complete.

You can try cleaning under the keys with electrical switch cleaner. However, for the display, you can only check the connections to it. Purchasing a defective specialist phone like this is not a good idea as the only people that can provide spares is the maker.
