This sounds like a lamp failure. See your owners manual for instructions on replacing the lamp.

Your problem sounds like the projection bulb is going bad. It is the main problem with projection TV's, and is usually very spendy. I would recommend calling Zenith and request a new bulb.

When you remove the back of the set. You will fined a couple of caps on the power supply board that are bulged and they need to be replaced, or you can buy a new power supply at www.partstore.com. If you want to just purchase the caps, you can get them at www.mcmelectronics.com

You have a bad optical engine. This is not that difficult to replace but could be costly.

Go to zenith.com, look under the service icon at the top and then you should see a listing for "Class Action Lawsuit/Settlement". If you follow that link, they'll have specifics listed for this suit that was brought against them (including tv model #s included in the suit). There was an agreement reached to fix/replace affected t.v.s, court date was in Feb. I believe, and just waiting now until they post information on how to proceed.

If the pixel is there whatever the source of the image then the problem is in  the DMD - the set of LCD screens that is generating the image. Sorry , this is unfixable, if you can't tolerate it you will have to replace the entire DMD and it will be pretty expensive.

Call LG they bought zenith and there is a class action suit so you can get a replacement or repair refund from LG

Go to the Zenith repair site. This has been resolved in a lawsuit. Zenith will fix it free of charge through 7/1/2010. The shop just picked my up to replace the light engine free of charge. Call 1-800-228-1757, have your model number and serial number, and where you purchased it. Here's the neat thing-the question I asked is "have they fixed the problem with the light engine, or is it going to keep going bad?" If happens again (blue lines/spots) before 7/1/2010, they'll replace the TV with a new and different TV of equal value!

Go to the Zenith web site. If you have not adjusted any of the default settings for color, brightness etc then a possibility is that your light engine is failing. Just this month a Class action settlement was put in place that entitles owners of this and several other models to have the light engine replaced in home under an extended warranty until July 2010. You should be able to find a toll free number if you follow the link to Class Action Settlement. I did and a service tech is coming to my house next week to replace it at no cost to me. I looked and the parts alone are approx 600 to 1500 bucks. Good Luck!!

I have purchased 2 of the units from Mat and they are core light engines that look worse than the originals. Your best bet is Tri State Module. I have used a couple of theirs and they are quality. Cost is closer to 400.00 and it is a big job to disassemble this unit and replace this light engine. Most likely will take a tech who knows this unit.

Call LG electronics, they bought Zenith and fixed my 60inch Zewnith for free , my model is D60WLCD

is this a rear projection tv? a table top one? how old is it because if it's over a few years old, then it sounds as if the bulb may be going out but without having more info, it's hard to give an accurate advice.. please let me know if this helps..
