One way of telling if its the power supply is apply power to the
projector and look at fans on the side. If they don't move then its a
power supply issue. The case is only held together with 4 screws. Two in the back and two underneath. The and then it just snaps apart. I'd be careful in there since there are some delicate optical parts. I can fix this for you for
less then it cost to send to infocus or to a repair shop. Ebay Id is

Power light will not come on at all. Is this a
More than likely. I suspect the power supply has dry capacitors, what has failed because of them I wouldn't like to say except if power transistors have failed, it will be fairly complicated.
Hope that solves your problem.

I have recently replaced the lamp in my screenplay
Rather than hitting the factory reset, you need to reset the lamp hours. With the power on, press and hold the brightness up and brightness down keys on the projector keypad at the same time for 10 full seconds. Verify the hours were reset by going to "About" in the main menu.

Can't start infocus sp7200 after changing lamp.
The end of lamp timer has reached it's limit and won't let the new lamp strike. What you need to do is Reset the end of life timer. To do this, with the projector switched off press and hold both the up and down Brightness buttons on the projector. while holding them in turn on the projector. Continue holding the buttons in for 10 to 15 seconds This will reset the end of life timer in the projector.
Cheers

Hi
Yes, generally when there is no power, the issue is most likely a fuse, or a issue with the power supply.
If you are outside of warranty then feel free to open up your projector, there is most likely a number of fuses in the projector, at least one on the power supply area, follow the power cord and look for a fuse.
Also while you are in there look for bulky or leaking capacitors, sometimes a bulky capacitor can be difficult to notice and needs to be looked at from different angels.
Bad capacitors can keep the projector from working properly, but if you have complete power loss the issue is often more than just bulky capacitors.

Is there a fuse in
There is generally a fuse on the power board where the power goes in, unless it has a power adapter and in that case the fuse might be in the power adapter.

My SP7200 sometimes projects flashing white
it may not be the projector as a bad ground. try it with a different plug in a different room. if the problem persists, it may be a bad lamp. if the lamp is older, flashing may occur.

I've got an SP7200 and one day a while back it
chances are, it is the power supply. unfortunately, unless you are handy with a soldering iron, you're out of luck. you can't buy the parts anymore. infocus no longer carries them. sorry.
