Hi, you must hold 1st remove the disc (if you have one in) then hold down the STOP which is just under the RECORD button. Hold it for about 6 to 8 seconds. That should clear it.

This happened to me & I finally found a manual online that I could download.

Here's what the manual says:

"If you set Progressive Scan to On in error, you must reset the unit.

1) Remove any disc from the unit and close the disc tray. See that "NO DISC" is displayed on the display window.

2) Press STOP and hold it for five seconds before releasing it. The video output will be restored to the standard setting and a picture will once again be visible on a conventional analog TV or monitor."

Plug a cable(prob RCA) from audio out on your tv into any desired input on your stereo.

This indicates that the DVD media which you are using does not support voice in English but other languages.

All you can do now is first check up the setup settings whether there is something which is causing this issue.

If not then check up the DVD and it's cover if it indicates something to that effect.

Tracking depends on the tape's lower edge. If the head that reads it is dirty or the edge is wavy you will have bad tracking.

If they're not the originally-specified speakers you, like any pioneer, can expect some arrows in your back; or maybe you'll discover sonic paradise. These small systems are manufactured as a set for a reason. If anything has proprietary connectors I'd avoid modifying them for use with unmatched components.

There's a lot more going on in a given speaker than its impedance.

Does the tape door open? Mine would not eject because the door did not open. I removed the door & it works OK without it.

Do not panic yet! Before doing anything else just unplug the unit for a time. On two different occasions I unplugged my TV/VCR combo, it reset itself and I could eject the tape. I do not know how much time is really necessary as I let mine sit overnite in those two instances.

So after much frustration the first time a tape stuck which included carefully opening the chassis to look for a twisted tape, sticky labels or loose parts in and around the metal cassette holder plates, I put it back together. Now I just unplug to reset.

I am not saying this will work in every instance, but give it a try first.

Try this turn on the dvd check there is no disc on the tray then push the stop button for 10 seconds

Locate your DVD player’s manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the DVD drawer.

Insert a stiff wire—such as a paperclip or safety pin—into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open.

Remove the DVD and see if there is a problem with it. Most DVD player drawers get stuck when a DVD is warped or the label is starting to peel. If the DVD is warped, discard it. If the label is peeling, remove the label.

Turn your DVD player back on. If it gets stuck again on a different DVD, then the problem may be with your DVD player rather than with your DVDs. If this is the case you should have it serviced or perhaps it is time for a new one.
