USE A REMOTE FLASH TRIGGER I USE IT ON MY 60CT FLASH ON 5D11

No you can not use straight AC power on the Metz 60CT-1.

the charger adapter that plugs into the battery pac from the wall has a fuse inside it open it uo and check the fuse has not blown as that's normally the reason i get no light on the pac also using a small enough file clean off all the terminals and check that the spring terminals contacting the circuit board from the plug are not corroded and contacting correctly

Sometimes the long slide switch (pcb switch) gets worn with metal particles rubbed onto tracks from the contacts. The switch then has partial shorts and only works on certain positions. The track looks black when this happens. Clean with alcohol and rub vigorously with toothbrush and swabs.

Hey, You can engage a mechanical engineer to design a mouting fixture.Depends on how professional you are. If you need a quick " McGiver" fix --- duck tape will do.

I screwed it to the base so it can't swivel not the greates fix but it will work until someone tells me where to buy used metz parts

The dial on the top does nothing to the flash. It's just a guide, like a simple ruler.

Example:
You just set your ASA/ISO (Yellow Line) to Orange DIN/ASA Number to match your camera's ASA/ISO.
Then just read those Scale of F Stops to outside to get FT/M (Feet or Meter).

The true meter from flash is on Handle of flash:
Set Orange Horizontal Line to ASA/ISO Number to match camera.
Set Left Slider, push up & down, to the F Stop that you wanted to shoot.
You have 6 Auto Sensor F Stops
1 for M (Motordrive)
1 for W (Winder)
