U need to extend the antenna wire looks likes a small black wire in the back of unit

i probably wouldnt try souldering them because you have a high chance of melting that wire since it is extremely thin and its usually fiberoptic but you may have something frayed inside the input jack itself like a loose ground or a loose connection i would look their as well. When it comes to music i would throw away the input chords and buy new ones

You have done what i would have suggested, the Bose Wave unit will need to back to Bose for service, and there is a good chance they will need to replace the laser pickup assembly and cost should be considered even thoe it is top of the line.

The problem is in the laser pickup assembly, buy a CD cleaning kit and follow instructions, If that fails! it must go back to Bose for sevice the only way.

HelloCheck its power cord first. If it is OK, check its power supply section inside. There will be a fuse at the power supply rectifer board. Check it. If it is found opened [damaged] never put an other fuse, without proper check to the power supply and main audio amplifier section. There must be some reason for the blow up of this fuse. Without rectifying the fault, replacing an other fuse, may make more components to get damaged, and the repair work may cost more. OK.

Possibly a loose piece inside...you might need to send it into bose for possible repair/replacement of parts.

To set the Alarm 1 time - On the control panel, hold down ALARM
SET and press TUNING up or down. The time display changes slowly at
first, then more quickly. Release TUNING to stop.
On the remote, press TIME. The ALARM indicator flashes. Press
TUNING up or down. The time display changes slowly at first, then
more quickly. Release TUNING to stop. Press TIME to return the display
to the current time.
To turn on the Alarm 1 function - Press ALARM MODE or
ALARM in sequence to select the mode you want: tone, radio,
both tone and radio, or off.
For tone only, press until the indicator lights.
For radio only, press until the indicator lights.
For tone and radio, press until both indicators light. When the
alarm goes off, the tone sounds. Press SLEEP/SNOOZE to turn the
radio on. Press SLEEP/SNOOZE to pause the radio for 10 minutes.
To turn off the Alarm 1 function - Press ALARM MODE or
ALARM until the display shows no Alarm 1 mode indicators.
To check the Alarm 1 setting - On the control panel, hold down
ALARM SET to see the wakeup time.
On the remote, press TIME to see the wakeup time. Press TIME again to
return the display to current time.
To wake to a preselected radio station with Alarm 1 - While
holding ALARM SET, press the PRESET button for the station you want
(change between AM and FM if needed).

Amplifier chip/circuit is kaput. Unless you are familiar in fixing electronic equipments better to give it for repairs................sodeep
PS. Buying a new one will not be cost effetive unless you need a change!

Try cleaning the lens using a cotton sdwab and alcohol. If that fails to resolve it, the optics are probably starting to fail. Depending upon which model, the optics may be Sony ones that are readily available and relatively cheap. Any service shop that works on audio gear should be able to help with this. Expect the optics to cost between $10-$40.

Question edited for clarity. It is a 'Pyle' not a 'Pile'. It is under warranty. Return it, an internal component has failed probably an electrolytic capacitor. One thing you can try is to disconnect it and move it to another room to discount EMF from something. ..

You can check with new battery in the remote. Next you point a digital camera, a smartphone should do fine, at the infra red transmitter on the front of the remote and then look on the camera screen if you see the ir light flash different pulses for each button. Infra red light can not be seen but a digital camera shows it really well. Confirm this with another remote. Now you know if the remote functions right. Remotes are available on-line or one can use a universal type remote. The IR receiver is often welded onto the circuit board. This means that it is not right behind the front panel window. It can be obstructed, perhaps by dust or displaced. This is generally speaking.
