Error C6000 related to fuser unit, you can try to reset to see if it works, other wise you need to replace fuser unit. try to reset following these steps: press on the panel the key 1078 1078, this will take you to maintenance mode. now hite the key 163 And then hit the Start key. select Execute and press Start key again. A paper jam in the paper feed section is indicated during copying or printing (no paper feed from the cassette). Jam code 11 Paper in the cassette is extremely curled. Check if the feed roller is deformed. Defective registration sensor. Check if the feed clutch malfunctions. Electrical problem with the feed clutch The above is taken from the sm Also the feed tyre needs cleaned / changing and or cassette springs need stretching !!!

This is a fuser problem. Try this to reset:

First open top cover then turn on power.
press system menu/counter
arrow down to service
press and hold start, # then enter keys
arrow down to maintenance
press enter
arrow down to Sim 163
press enter
select execute
press enter
turn off power then back on

Hi there just open it up and inside there will be a small plass bottle that hold the waste toner you can clean out and put back.

There are two screws on the drum unit. They are on the left hand side and one on the right hand side. Remove the screw from one side and take off plastic small side cover. Dump the waste toner. Do the same for the other side and then put it back together. Turn machine off then on and the error code should be gone......

This is a fuser problem -- here is a reset method:


First open top cover then turn on power.
press system menu/counter
arrow down to service
press and hold start, # then enter keys
arrow down to maintenance
press enter
arrow down to Sim 163
press enter
select execute
press enter
turn off power then back on

Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.

Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.

Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.

If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.

If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.

If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.

Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.

If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.

Hi,
Check feed Rollers,and Timing Switch-no 4 in attached file.
Switch was not deactivated in proper time .That means,maybe paper path has some obstructions(paper scrap etc... ) or some spring on switch is not in proper position.

Sounds to me like you need a developer change and these machines must have OEM toner

if this were your problem it would be obvious the inner tray is in the middle of the machine there is a lever that lifts up as paper stacks up its probably stuck in raised position
