No power fuse is ok
It is most likely a fault within the switchmode power supply - due mostly to the ever infamous electrolytic capacitors and zener diodes (the capacitors fail which increases DC voltage through the diodes, shorting them out). It could prove expensive to repair by a service centre, if that's what you want to do. You can submit the player to your local repair centre for a quote, and get a second opinion on the exact nature of the problem, then you can make a decision about any further action for it from there.
These days, so many DVD and Blu-Ray players are becoming cheaper to buy, while repairs on the same units become more and more expensive and/or uneconomical as parts are often difficult or impossible to obtain. Unless you have electronics experience, knowledge, A-grade soldering/component measurement and diagnostic skills, plus an understanding of service manuals, do not undertake the repairs yourself.
However, it is up to you what you decide to do from here. Cheaper and easier to buy a new player - consider this option ONLY as a last resort.
Purchased the pink Disney Princess
lots of electrical items will use a default security code of 0000 or 1234.
if there is nothing in the manual and these codes do not work, then your best option would be to return it to the store for them to find the codes or refund/refpace the item
Disney Princess TV
You can get the original remote on Ebay. I purchased one for my tv and it works great. Plus it's pink!!!! If I were you I would look there to see if you can get the original one, rather then messing around with universal ones!!!
Good Luck!
Disney princess DVD player won't work at all anymore.
These DVD players are garbage. I bought one for my daughter and we've had nothing but problems with it. We finally hooked up another DVD player for her because I got tired of trying to make the dumb thing work. I haven't heard of anyone that's been happy with one of these players. Disney should refund everyone who has bought one of these there money back!
Can u help experts online?
Well to me either the Motor Hub or the Laser assembly needs to be replaced if no spinning then its the Motor hub if spinning and then its probably a dirty laser or a burnt out laser and needs either cleaning or replacement or it could have even come out of alignment which would also pose a issue.

Disney Princess DVD Player
I had the same problem with my daughters dvd player this evening. It shouldn't happen in the 1st place but I unpluged it and then pluged it back in and it ejected the disk when I pressed the button but when I put another dvd in it to see if it was just a glitch it did the same thing so I unpluged it again this time for about 2 minutes and then it started up just fine. This one is the new one with the jewel buttons on it. We just got it for chirstmas so it is not at all old. So I would recomend to turn it off immediatley at the end of each use maybe it was me keeping it on for them to go to sleep and letting the main menu run that was causing the problem. Good luck and if you find any more soulutions let me know as well!
