If you have a cable box from Verizon get them to set it up for you.

Make sure someone hasn't pressed 'mute' on the remote. Also, if there is a 'menu' button, trying going in and seeing if someone accidentally changed the settings in there. The other possibility is that if there is a place for headphones to be plugged in, make sure there are none plugged in to the port, because the sound would then bypass the speakers to go out of the headphones.

Unlikely to program to a universal and if it does will not do some things , key things.

Look in the closed caption area for TEXT to see if engaged---it will do this.

Hi. I have been going nuts for the past few days trying to figure this out. I went thru 5 universal remotes and tons of research online and i found only one solution. Not a remote but a R F modulater fixed my problem. You can get one on ebay cheap. Walmart also. Worked for us. Now my daughter can watch a dvd.

Final anode cap arcing is the problem to your TV. Just unplug final anode cap from the top of the picture tube bell.[discharge the final anode properly before remote it]. Sometimes LOT {line Output Transformer} might be repalced. Picture of the LOT is attached here. You can see the final anode cap, an attached part to LOT. It is silicone rubber cap, look like a ****** at the end of EHT wire.

Hi,Sorry, there is not a reset on this TV.No signs of life can be anything from a Fuse, to failed components on the power supply.I suggest having it to a local repair shop which has the training and proper equipment to disassemble the TV and replace the failed component(s).Expect a diagnostic fee of $40 (depending on your location) that is credited toward the repair bill.Thanks

This TV is made by Emerson so refer to your all in one remote manual and try those codes. You can also look at the instructions for your remote and try running the auto code scan feature.

Check if you mistakenly hot the mute button. If not check other remotes, i.e cable, set top box remote volume. Thumb me up if I helped. :)

If you tried all of the codes and still nothing I suggest to have the control find it for you. Programming with code search on page 10 will help you with that. The only thing I do not know is the model number for the universal remote so the instructions may not be right on.

This tv was produced by some small company for the Disney Corporation,so there are no universal codes out there for this tv.100% i'm sure have original remote.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the original remote.

Follow the same steps to enter a code but instead of entering code press the channel up button repeatedly until it turns the tv channel and when it changes (dont press up again or else you will have to do it over again). When you get the remote to change channel STOP! and press the enter/ok, or similar button to lock the code in and you should be set. Good luck. If you follow the steps and it doesnt work the first couple of times dont be discouraged, Trust me all universal remotes allow you to set up you universal remote this way i guess they already know people lose the universal remotes instruction manual with all the codes in it! I believe that the Disney princess televisions are manufactured by Memorex. Hope this helps you program your universal remote? regards, john.
