put the yellow cable in a b+ directrly fuse, and the red in acc a fuse

tape too tight..try different tape..if ok then use a pencil to loosen tape on bad one and retry

This thing is ancient now. They were for sale in 2003 to 2004 in Walmart for about $50. I owned a couple of these. They are complete junk head not worth bothering with since they do quit working after some time. Hard bump in the road breaks these often. This does not have the feature of using buttons for tuning in stations. Its a turn dial style unit. The radio puts out about 13 watts into each channel. Does have RCA preouts and its a basic CD player that can read CD-R discs. Nothing fancy like MP3 playback or WMA playback which was coming out about that time.

They were sold through Walmart. Chances are you will not find one for such and old model. But, cannot be too hard to operate it as most cd players of the level of brand are simple to operate. Also, try eBay for manual or replacement parts.
