there is no display on your Roland Handsonic because the screen inverter or screen board panel is faulty. This has to be replaced for you to see your digital display again.

So its either you use it like that without the display or you take it to a repairer for fixing.

Open up the Roland G-70 and check if all the connectors and flatcables are well seated. Check also if the power supply is working as supposed to.

i moved you from computers to music + roland. it needs service, find a shop to fix it; IT RAN FOR 1995 TO NOW, 26YEARS FRANKLY AN AMAZING RUN. FOR SURE. it needs service, you have 2 choices besides upgrade. 1: shop fix it. 2: buy the service manual and learn electronics. check DC power rails inside first and fuses .

Do you have an owner's manual......first thing to try would be a factory reset...sometimes this will un-scramble the operating system and set it back to when it left the factory....contact Roland for an owner's manual if you don't have one....hopefully this helps..if not, then you will have to open it up.....

First you need to make sure that the keyboard is programmed to accept the DP-10 as factory default and then that the DP-10 is working perfectly. There is a case where the DP-10 action switch is activated directly, in this case the sustain does not stop and you need to change the micro switch of the DP-10 pedal.
