I find no way to disable the CID record feature. If you wish to neither see nor record CID, contact your service provide and unsubscribe to the CID service. I suspect remote is unable to communicate with the base and is reporting the issue as power loss at base.

Reset the base unit and power supply by unplugging the base power supply from the wall, wait at least 1 minute, plug base power supply back into wall outlet.

Reset remote by removing battery wait a minute, reinstall battery.

If after the reset the base can't make/receive calls, its likely failed.

If the base works and the remote still reports base power issue, could be either base or remote.
