yes , i can help,> open dvd tray, your player will go to menu but it will be jumping so look to bottom of screen to tell what function you are in. scroll down till you see "display lets you display picture etc." when you see this at bottom of screen hit enter and and hit bottom arrow you will see pal/ntsc option hit enter again and your picture will return to normal good luck.

The machine was inadvertently switched to Prgressive Scan mode which only works if you have the proper cables and receiver. The following sequence runs through the menus that you cannot see when the mode is incompatible and switches off the progressive scan mode: Turn machine on (no disc). Press down arrow 3 times, then press OK. Press down arrow 2 time, then press OK. Press OK again. Press down arrow 1 time, then press OK.
